Wow, ok, those fake fangs had to go. They were making singing very difficult and it probably wasn’t attractive watching him splutter everywhere. They were cool, but not in this particular situation.
Yes, he was humming and yes he was also very aware that it was not yet Halloween, but this vampiric disaster look was honestly all he could put together in time! And so he found himself standing outside of Izaya’s office door.
Fingers crossed the man was actually IN there… or else, boy, is he gonna look like even more of an idiot. (Was that even possible!?)
OF ALL THE PEOPLE HE COULD HAVE CHOSEN TO SERENADE, he chose this guy. WHY, OH WHY? Technically, it wasn’t a matter of choice, it was a matter of coincidentally passing by. That, and the deadline was close and he had no time to be picky!
With that, he gave the door a couple of knocks (pretty sure he heard a certain someone cackle at least once in there), and started the song off, waaaaay too nervous to even wait for the teacher to answer the door and witness it all.
“There’s no need to frown
there’s no need to feel down
all these sad days, just let them wash away.
when the sun starts to shine
that’s your time to shine as well
all these sad days, just let them wash away.
and i don’t even know your name.
but i’ve seen your smile before
and it’s always been the same
it’s always been so infectious.
when you smile the world smiles too
when you laugh, it fills every room
all those sad days, you washed away
and i don’t even know your name.
but i’ve seen your smile before
and it’s always been the same
it’s always been so infectious.”
Well, that was embarrassing.
