This week we have been looking at red objects in preparation for our new Anthropology gallery in 2018. We have been charmed by this beautiful, and very red, felt bag from Canada which has been carefully embroidered with moose-hair. Scenes of people, plants, and animals are depicted on the front of the bag, including three people rowing in a boat with a dog. However we particularly like the striking wolf, hunting for food, on the reverse!
