You all have trained so hard. You're fast, sharp, and incredibly ready. So proud of you! I'll be watching and cheering from Philadelphia.

So here are just a few photo's I took of the regatta venue. Sorry about the poor photo quality! My video camera takes pictures just about as good as my toaster does! The first picture is just a cool shot USRowing took of the quad with the hills in the background. The second picture is of the finish line, and then there are a series of grandstand/ course/ venue pictures. The venue is now completely full with colorful boats and oars painted with countries flags, so it does not look as drabby as these pictures make it look! The brown houses in the background are where athlete and boat weigh-ins occur.Fun stuff! -Jamie
Refusing to lose: the quad qualifies for the final, beating out Russia! Tomorrow Colleen races reps at 9:21 while Alex and Emalia make their bid for the semis at 10:38. Both are in lane 1.
Getting ready for the rep! Maybe we should stick to rowing, not nail art haha
Day one of racing! The quad races in their heat!
Alex & I woke up to a beautiful sunrise before our last practice row. Heat 1 tomorrow 10:17am

ARRIVAL... more to come soon!!
After a LONG day of traveling and 2 practices completed we have all settled into Linz!! More descriptive stories of our travels are coming soon!! We are all just a little too tired and a little too hungry to write one today - but should be ready by tomorrow!! Here is a pic of Alex, Kayla, and Nikki hanging in a Starbucks during their 7 hour layover in Frankfurt:
Yesterday was our last practice in the USA! To commemorate this experience we had a photo shoot in our USA gear - checkout all these cool pics!
I can’t believe we’re all leaving today and that the next time we put our oars into the water it will be in Austria!!
Stay tuned for updates from abroad!
Heading to the art museum to take advantage of pay-what-you-wish Wednesdays, I ran into Lizzy Bates, Vesper alum and part of the 2011 U23 ltwt double!! #alltogether
I think we have enough sustenance to get us through our trip to Austria!
