Kida had her nose so deep into a book and was so hyper-focused that she didn't even notice Cayden enter the room.

Kida curtsied respectfully as she saw Aria enter the room, "Good Evening, Your Highness."

She had no idea why her Mother sent her of all people to welcome Aunt Aria but she was not about to disobey her.

Kida had been up all night in the library and had learned nothing new. She had also spent the entire day with various tutors and she was just tired.

Maybe she should go clear her heard with a short ride on her Rapidash before bed?

How do you feel about routine?

Routine and structure were very important to Kida! Without them things tend to fall into chaos! Everything she did needed to be carefully thought out and planned ahead of time to avoid any surprises or disruptions as she doesn't handle those very well.

Take two, right? The puppy caught onto the princess' confusion and scampered after the ball as it rolled off her lap, only to come back and place it onto her hand. He would then gently nudge with with his snout as if he was saying 'hey watch me!'

The puppy then did the same motion with one of his front paws once again, throwing it forward! Then gazed up at her once more, granted no one could see his eyes, but he could see just fine!

That was a pretty clear hint. So he wanted her to throw the ball for him? How ridiculous...

She picked up the ball and looked it over. She couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed about this but she wasn't exactly sure why? Either way she glanced around first to make sure no one was there or watching and then she tossed gently tossed it towards one of the corners of the room and then waited to see what he would do next.

(( I was gone for so long I am half-tempted to do a bit of a 'time-skip' to have the isekai verse catch up with the previous one as an excuse and totally not because in the last year sooo much has happened ooc that my mental storage was used up and overwritten some of the plot to bridge the two parts together or anything - nope, not at all! ))

That is not how one plays! The tiny Fire-type let out a tiny huff at the princess, before gently smacking the ball from her hand with one of his front paws, and then chasing after it!

He turned before picking it up, seeing if she was watching, before he ran back up to her, trying to place the ball into her hand!

He did a play bow, wiggling his rear in the air as he happily panted, clearly excited to see if the princess caught on!

Play times must be had princess!!

Kida quickly pulled her hand back as the Growlithe smacked the ball out of her hand and clasped it with her other hand. Well! That was rude! She had half a mind to call out to the guards and have the brat re-

She stopped herself there. No - that's what her 'old self' would have done and she wasn't going to be that person anymore. It wasn't trying to disrespect her - it was a young Pokemon who wanted it's ball and that was it.

Kida watched as the ball rolled off her lap and begin to roll away as the Puppy tried to give her the ball back. Wait... she didn't understand... why was it trying to give her the ball again right after taking it back?

And there it comes, bouncing up and gently resting against her foot would be a small sized squeaky ball, covered in tiny fresh bite marks!

In the door however sat the culprit!

The tiny puppy Pokemon eagerly gazed at the princess, his big poofy tail wagging as if it was about to fly off it's rear and become a cloud itself, his round ears perked up and his front paws excitedly tapping against the floor as he sat.

Play time??

Kida hesitated for a moment as the ball rolled against her foot. She turned and looked at the door and relaxed when she saw the Growlithe and sighed to herself - it was just Noel's partner. For a moment she was almost afraid it was Freya's Yamper chasing Youta's Litten again and she was about to get pulled into that spat.

She bent down and picked up the ball and held it out towards the Puppy, "I think you dropped this?"

What's that sound?

The soft pitter patter of paw pads and the small scraping of tiny claws on the floor! Whoever could that be??

Kida is going to pretend that she didn't hear anything and hopes that whatever it is isn't aggressive and if it is it doesn't see her.

Kida is very tired this morning. Maybe she will try to avoid her Tutors today and go take her Rapidash out for a ride instead?
