Ship: Outlaw Queen.

Prompt: Robin and Regina's first kiss, aboard Jolly Roger. Regina still hasn't seen his tattoo.
That days events had been very strange indeed. Emma, Snow, David, Regina and Tinkerbell had found Neal - covered in blood and abandoned in the middle of the forest, just outside of their camp. They managed to drag his limp body over to the large ocean to clean up the gooey mess. After getting tired of waiting around for nothing to happen, Regina rebuilt the Jolly Roger, craving a roof and shelter from the rain. It was then, that Robin appeared. The man flew in across the dark sky, clinging to the leg of a shadow - one which managed to kick him away and take off with his son. In despair, Robin acted out harshly and blamed Neal. "If you hadn't called for the shadow in the first place, my son would be safe! You had to know that the shadow would come back for my boy!" He had yelled, causing more blood to fall from Baelfire's body as he punched him square in the jaw. Robin didn't get away so easily. Neal showed that he could pack a few hits in return, despite his weak posture and bruised body. Robin got away with a small cut on his lower lip.
"I'm sick of this fighting! If you are both to aboard my ship, you will abide by my rules. Apologies, your majesty... but you must now share your room with this Robin fellow. We need many allies if we are to find Henry, and this ship is only a small one. You seem to have a fair few things in common. You might just kill each other and put everyone out of their misery... or you might come up with an excellent plan to save your son. Team work. It's the way of the future." Hook smirked, flashing his metal hook at the glistening sun to inhale it's brightness and beauty. With extra sass, he turned to face the bleeding man, offering him a handkerchief. "Baelfire... go to your room." The pirate said seriously, glaring at the man who still reminded him so much of his young boy: the child he'd thought of as a son: Milah's boy. "Are you kidding?" Neal chuckled, wiping away masses of red liquid from his forehead. "I'm far from laughing, my boy." He glared darkly. There was something about his stare that made Bae listen and without hesitation, he grabbed Emma's wrist and dragged her towards his cabin.
With anger, Regina stomped down the stairs, past Emma and Neal to her own room. Forcefully, she slammed the door. Was it so much to ask for? A little privacy. She just wanted some time to herself, to think without being interrupted by those idiots outside. "I just want Henry back." She whispered to herself, clutching a pillow to her chest as if it were a person. Singular tears rolled down her plump cheeks, until she managed to force them back with difficulty. Tears were weak. She was strong. Crying was supposed to be forbidden. If her mother were here, she'd get a good telling off and a harsh punishment. Sighs left Regina's body at the thought, so she tried to forget about her mothers silly lessons. With a sob, she pressed her face into her cushion and tried to avoid letting any more cries emerge.
"It's okay to be upset, you know?" A smooth voice said with a tone so loving and gentle, she could have melted. Instead, however, she gasped with sudden fright like any normal human being would have. Startled, she sat up and quickly tried to get rid of any signs that she was distraught and loosing hope. It was all in vain, she realized. He'd already seen her tearful face. "How old is your son?" Robin asked, taking a seat on the side of her bed, trying not to startle the woman further. Regina couldn't form any words, but managed to sit up a little, still clutching her pillow tightly. "Henry is eleven." She managed to mumble against the fabric of the cushion, tears still staining her cheeks.
Without warning, Robin reached over to brush her pain away with the pad of his thumb. He caught her tears on his fingertips and shushed her lightly as she suddenly broke down in front of him. The intimate touch to her cheek had made those remaining walls snap. "It's okay." He whispered, shuffling closer to wrap his arms around the fragile woman. "It will be okay. We'll get them back." Robin nodded, stroking Regina's hair as she buried her face in the strangers shoulder. "You can't give up now. You're an excellent mother." He whispered, soothing her aches for more than an hour with sweet words and gentle caresses. Eventually, she did calm down and felt much better after her outburst. Regina was now filled with determination and strength. She would get Henry back, or take every single lost boy down one by one.
"How old is your son?" Regina managed to sniff, finally calm enough to ask her new roommate some questions. With a smile, Robin pulled out a small photo and handed it to the woman. "He's only four." The hunter grinned, seeing the way Regina's eyes softened at the photo. Robin knew how cute his boy was, every second without him felt like torture. "My wife died soon after she bore him. I raised Roland myself." Robin confessed, wrapping a blanket around them both to ensure that they were both warm. "I raised Henry by myself too." Regina smiled, handing the small photo back to the muscular man, who sat so close to her now. Normally, the dark woman was less than bold. She kept herself to herself nowadays and destroyed those who tried to get in her way, but tonight... she needed kindness and comfort. Gently did she rest her head upon his shoulder, closing her eyes to pray for a miracle. Robin did the same, realizing that two people wishing together made the power stronger.
Seconds, minutes, could even have been hours seemed to pass by before they finally opened their eyes. "I made a wish." He whispered, wrapping a piece of her hair behind her ear. "I did also." She smiled, looking away from the imaginary glittering diamond in the sky to meet a pair of blue diamonds, staring back at her with the same intensity. She needed comfort, someone to share her pain, someone to care.
Without thinking, Regina pulled her body up slightly to be nearer to the man's mouth. She stared deeply into his soul, her heart thumping in her ears as she ran her tongue over her lips. She felt his warm breath mix with hers, the beat of his heart against her chest. "We shouldn't do this. You're a horrible distraction, and I mean that in a polite way... which let me tell you is rare." She pointed out, eyes lidded and desperate to close all the way. Regina had never wanted to kiss a man this badly before, especially not a stranger they'd known for less than 6 hours. "I think that we both need a horrible distraction." He pointed out with ragged breath. Robin's hand lay on the small of her back as he pulled her body closer to his own, lips just inches from meeting. "We both need a disract-" Was all Regina managed to mumble in her daze, before his lips pressed against hers, pulling them apart passionately. With strange wonder, the Queen felt a powerful outburst of affection overcome her. Her knee's felt like jelly, her brain felt like mush and all she could do was run a hand over his stubbly chin and into his hair, pulling him closer.
"I really like you." He whispered, continuing the assault on her mouth. Regina let out a quiet moan, her hands gripping the fabric of his white shirt. "Which is why we need to stop." Robin whispered, gently pulling away from her with small kisses. That night, they fell asleep in each others arms. He kept away her nightmares and they came up with plans to save their children. The rest of the evening became peaceful and for the first time in a long time, Regina felt at ease.
