It’s been a long time since I’ve worked on a portrait, and something within me really wanted to attempt a realistic (L)ysandre just for funs, so here you go 🦁

I went with a more poofy-haired approach rather than spiky because it was just easier to work with; if anything, maybe this is how he looks after taking a shower and blow drying his hair 💨

(For the record, I referenced his features from a variety of different models. Resemblance to any one real world person is purely coincidental.)

Anywho, this was a fun challenge! Mayhaps I’ll do more if I feel so inclined..

you'll get the urge as an artist or a writer to say out loud the things you're worried about "the proportions are off" "kind of out of character" "i'm not good at summaries" "didn't get as much detail as i wanted" "i made a mistake and here's how" and that's the self-conscious part of your brain telling you "it's bad and if you don't tell them you know it's bad then they'll think you're stupid" but you've got to ignore that little voice and pretend you think it's good or else that little voice is going to ruin your life

Some of the best advice I have ever gotten was from a creative writing professor. She said never apologize for your work. Never critic it before someone else does.

Her reasoning was you are the creator. You made your work from nothing and can see all the flaws and seems and holes. But your audience may not see any of it. Maybe they will; maybe they won't. But if you TELL them about the holes and the mistakes and the problems....they will 100% see them. So don't tell them. Don't sabotage yourself just because you think you're not good enough.

Edy and Polly are best friends/exes and students at Kalos University. They’re very close but have a complicated on-and-off, will-they-won’t-they relationship.

Edy comes from a quiet, rural part of Sinnoh. Her partner is a Quagsire called Elmer. Moving to a new region in a major city like Lumiose for school has been a huge change but she’s enjoying it. She is especially excited about eating tasty pastries and meeting beautiful Kalosian girls.

Edy is also a history major and first met Lysandre in one of their classes—the two hit it off and became friends pretty fast over a shared interest in history and fashion.

Polly is a bubbly computer science major from Santalune City with a partner Spinda called Wobble. She’s passionate about coding, cute clothes, and pretty girls. She also met and befriended Lysandre in a class, after sensing something fruity about him.

The trio spends lots of time hanging out in the library or computer lab, where the gals take great enjoyment in teasing Lys about his developing crush on his roommate.

All this to say..here are my disaster lesbian ocs, I hope you enjoy 🎉
