NEW BLOG - Addressing This Blog, My Current Views and Apologizing

Hi y’all, haven’t posted on here since 2020 so I’m not sure anyone will really see this but I’ve been feeling like I should address my past behaviour on this blog for a while now, and this is what this post is. 

In the last few months of my blog, I moved left from my previous positions but still suffered from what I’ve dubbed “edgy little shit syndrome”, which prevented me from admitting I was wrong or from moving away from some of my positions (as can be seen in my bio, still intact). 

I don’t think I’ve ever addressed my neo-con/exclusionist/transmed/anti-blm era (honestly because I’m unbelievably embarrassed by it (as I should be)), so I’m leaving this here. I’m really sorry to everyone whose feelings I hurt and I apologize for the horrible shit I believed. I make no excuses for myself, I was just some edgy, contrarian, dumbass 15/16 year old and I listened to the wrong people and refused to question myself.

Even after that, in 2019, I became less reactionary but I was definitely still a dumbass for shit like pride and other LGBTQ+ related discourse and a bunch of other issues, and for that, I am also apologizing. Again, no excuses. 

I’m very grateful that I was able to get out of that thanks to great left-leaning creators mainly on YouTube (such as Contrapoints, Khadija Mbowe, and Tee Noir) as well as some more edgy left-leaning creators (such as HasanAbi, shoe0nhead and Vaush), and thanks to aquiring more real-world experience.

So, a few months back, I was browsing the university library when I found an old book from 1932 with an intriguing title:

So I did some research and it turns out that the author was a lesbian, wrote children’s books with her girlfriend, and opened a resort in New York:

It’s laughable to try and say “other than feminists, men want women to enjoy sex” without widely acknowledging how society has a fuckload of mixed messages about women, which is what OP was referring to. 

You don’t have to be some radical super-feminist to recognize that, both historically and currently, There’s a lot of contradictory shit going around regarding women’s sexuality.  Literally yesterday some of the exact same people who think Melania’s tasteful and classy, having done nude photoshoots, were trying to slut-shame Sasha Obama and call her a prostitute because she was in bikini-bottoms and a shirt.

There’s a bunch of mixed-signals going on, both individually and societally.

With a moment’s thought you’d know that every Single Abrahamic religion, and basically every sect of Christianity, tells women to not like sex.  Which wouldn’t be relevant, except for there being 1.5 national political parties that run to embrace those beliefs.

We’ve got national representatives saying that rape-babies aren’t a thing because women can’t get pregnant if they’re raped, so she must’ve wanted it.  Thus, she should have it.  Rush Limbaugh, what, 5 years ago said that if women want to have birth control covered by insurance they should publish sex tapes, and he’s hardly beyond the pale.  Jordan Peterson has said that societies that don’t control women’s sex lives risk the destruction of their civilization.  Between the two of them it’s not unreasonable to think that they’ve influenced tens of millions of Americans, and continue to do so.
