I don't think we talk enough about how Regina lost both her mother and her grandfather, the only family she had, at the same time. She was all alone, still a teenager. Who got custody of her untill she came of age? No idea how the laws were at the time. Maybe Doris showed up and took care of her? Thank God she had Aleksander. He must have been such a great support for her.

true! i don’t remember them ever explaining what happened to regina after they died. i’d like to think that regina moved in with aleksander since he is a bit older than her and could actually rent a flat. i’m sure he kept her safe.

aleksander and regina are the healthiest, most respectful and committed couple and they and their family deserves the whole world. thanks for this blog.

i completely agree with you. even if they did some (or more than some) shady stuff individually, they were together the most balanced, well suited pair & it totally breaks my heart that in the end, they never met. if you ask me, they are the true star-crossed lovers in the show. thank you 💕
