DCC: Anarchist’s Cookbook Spoilers

Spoilers Ahead!!!

So I just started reading DCC book 3 and I am really enjoying it so far, but here are some thoughts.

1. I am weary about Katia, I want to like her but I’m really worried about what happens if she leaves the party.

2. I am loving the AI’s beef with the Borant Co. and I want more about that and the implications of what happens if the AI decides to go totally off the rails (pun intended).

3. Brandon’s death WRECKED me. I am so mad he’s dead and hope Carl can meet back up with the others soon.

4. I really want them to run back into Mrs. Gibbins again and hope this is the book where they do.

5. I know Dinniman said don’t worry about the puzzles and my response is: don’t tell me what to do I will solve this.

Response to these after finishing the book:

1. LOVED Katia’s character development. I went from feeling weary about her to Katia ending up in my top 5 favorite characters!! Her storyline was the best part of this book imo

2. I want more petty AI drama! The DCC universe is the only one where I am okay with AI

3. Chris has me stressed out. I really don’t want home to be a bad guy.

4. I like Elle, I’m looking forward to see how her character evolves as the story goes on, but this book made me super interested I Imani’s story arc!

5. Y’all were right I gave up on tracks g those trains so fast 😭 I’m looking forward to a more open world setting again I was not the biggest fab of the trains.

This is probably gonna be a divisive tough one 😬I really wish I liked it more than I did.

So after Tiktok and two friends kept getting on to me to start Dungeon Crawler Carl I finally did. I'm 25 chapters into the first book and I find it funny that it's "haha random nonsense" style jokes that I usually hate is actually so entertaining. I was hesitant because I was seeing a lot of out of context jokes that just seemed to be wacky to be funny but God damn it works.

I just finished reading Don’t Let The Forest In, and I need to talk about it. No one I know irl has read it, but this book made me so stressed and so crazy in way that I couldn’t put it down. The ending was insane, and I feel like I need to talk about it and hear others opinion on this book!

I am only a half an hour into the new Drawtectives episode and I NEED Porchini/Porchino to join the Drawtective crew. He needs to be saved.

Edit:

I am now finished with the episode, and first things first it was an amazing episode I absolutely loved it and am so excited for the rest of the season, secondly I am choosing to believe that Porchino is going with them since they did tell him to.

Yo, correct me if I am wrong please, but didn't Hitler rise to power because he promised to fix the German economy and people really liked that so they looked past everything else he was doing??? Like exactly what's happening in America right now???

So many people said they voted for Trump, put a truly evil person in power, because he said he'd fix the economy, and a little voice in my head is going, "Isn't that what happened with fucking Hitler??"

But I've seen no one point that out so maybe I'm miss remembering???????
