The Reign Cafe is a privately owned and operated role playing venue located on the Balmung server of the Crystal data center. We are neither an FC nor a Linkshell, but a Discord community. Our mission is to host fun and exciting role playing events for the community. The Ruthless Reign is our flagship event.

Important changes are coming to the Ruthless Reign!

 We are stepping away from our limited 8 slots model and moving to the Stand and Fight model as our new permanent model going forward, starting with this month’s Reign. This means that the first 30 minutes of the event will be dedicated to accepting sign ups for the night. Sign ups via Discord are early bird sign ups and will be among the first in line for the night’s fight. Sign ups will no longer be taken via the website and are now limited to Discord and during the first 30 minutes of the event.

How it works:

In our new model, fighters are called up to the stage off of the sign ups list. The fighters will introduce themselves to the audience the first time they step onto the stage that night. After combat begins, the winner will remain on the stage and continue to fight until they are defeated or choose to step down, whether for medical care or simply being content with their victories.

A defeated individual may, if there is time left in the event, try again once everyone who has signed up to fight has had a chance to fight.

At the end of the night, the winner will be the combatant with the highest number of victories to their name.

Reminder: No Reign Tonight!

Ruthless Reign will be returning for Season 3 August 21st!

There seems to have been a mistake with the calendar bot despite having sent notice, so I would like to repeat that there is no Ruthless Reign tonight.

Going forward we are taking a month off between each season.

Season 3 begins August 21st. Sign Ups will be open early in August.
