   Along side the mountain, a noble family welcomed the joy of their only daughter, Sayuri. Born with eyes of silver. Colored like the full moon. Bright and welcoming. But times would not be so welcoming for her. The weather was cold most of the year, her people lived has far north as the humans could get. 

Growing up, Sayuri was raised with a young boy with the name of Saburo. Ravenous hair with the brightest green eyes. A smile that would carry anyone through the day. One day.. The two would wed. An arranged marriage set in stone on the day the two had met. Sayuri’s parents, Akira and Emiko were overjoyed to have such a future to build with another noblemen’s son. Daisuke was the father of Saburo but later would be the cause of a deep war between two lands and their people.

Several years had past and sayuri would forever remember the day that she lost her mother. And the deep.. bloody image.. of her mother lying against the cold snow would dig at her from a young age. The large city of Hythe would be scarred by losing their shining light. Emiko was rumored to have had an affair with Daisuke.. and when Emiko tried to end things between the two of them. He become enraged and slaughtered her. Having her body thrown at the entrance of Hythe, he made his way towards his home of Vanis. Knowing very well, He ended the peace between both lands.
