Kok Wai + Michelle [Edited Highlights]

There is a real feel-good vibe to this whole wedding. We were blessed with beautiful sunlight that makes everybody glow with an extra radiance. And working with our favourite vendors is always an extra perk! We love how we compliment each other ever so well and the set up was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone makes our first filming experience at Pollen a truly great and memorable one.

Kok Wai and Michelle are super chill and trust us enough to leave everything in our hands. They have great moments together and are always in a joyous mood throughout the day. May the love and happiness you feel today shine through the years! :D

Don + Joella [Same Day Edit + ROM Express Edit]

After rewatching their video for the umpteenth time, we still feel every bit of the raw emotions of Don and Joella's wedding day. There were lots of joyous moments throughout the day. One such moment was during the veiling. What started with fun interactions became poignant at the end, when the thought of marrying their beloved daughter away struck them.

Food was the main highlights as Don's relative's special homemade Peranakan snacks (which we could not resist to sneak in a few bites) that were super delicious! Over at Joella's place, they organised a 'popiah' party so you can hand wrap your spring-roll which makes it extra special. This brilliant idea brought everyone so much closer together! :D

At the solemnisation ceremony, Don started tearing up as he watched Joella marching down the aisle with her dad. That moment moved our hearts. Her dad instantly teared when he finally has to hand her over. Just why is it that it is always a little bit more emotional to see grooms tearing up?

Don and Joella, thanks sooo much for having us to feel (and film) your wedding day. It was an unforgettable day for us. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. :)

Zhai Rui + Joey [Lunch Express Edit]

Zhai Rui and Joey, we love the heartfelt letters you wrote for one another, the special dance performance that triggered such a huge reaction from the guests and of course, the rickshaw march-in that turned out much more awesome than anticipated. All these are memories that will last a lifetime. You guys make such a cute couple. Wishing you both a beautiful life as husband and wife. Sherman + Stephanie [Same Day Edit + ROM Express Edit]

Stephanie is a cheery bride, from the moment we met her in the morning, she was at all smiles making it very easy for us to capture her moments for the day.

Sherman and his groomsmen were all sporting as well, partaking in the dancing and eating of the 'goodies' for the morning. Our videographer, Adam, contributed in eating with the groomsmen too! It was all too hilarious!

Despite the tight deadline for their ROM Express during the dinner. Stephanie and Sherman made sure that we had what we needed and were left to do our best. We thank you both for your kindness and trust shown to us throughout the day. We wish you both a lifetime of blissfulness together! :)

Harry + Yi Ting [Same Day Edit]

This catchy song (and also brainwashing, the chorus stays in your head haha) is specially chosen by the couple and describes the both of them perfectly. They have a real jubilant nature and a contagious positive vibe around them. We love how they are crazy for one another and feel the deep, strong bond between them. :)

On the day, we were blessed with great weather and a dream location to film. The lighting was splendid with multiple spacious spots right at the doorstep. With the families gathered around, it was a pure joyous occasion to remember by.

Harry and Yi Ting, may you love one another through both the good times and the difficult. We will never forget the love and kindness you showered upon us on the day! :D

Jonathan + Valencia [Same Day Edit + ROM Express Edit]

It feels really nice every time the couple greets you with open arms first thing in the morning. They showered us with lots of warmth and they are so easy to hold a conversation with. They are also very appreciative as they thanked everyone individually during the tea ceremony. Jonathan expressiveness is an amazing and rare trait that we do not see in a lot of people. He is very good at putting his feelings and words across through his genuine and sincere gesture.

Jonathan and Valencia, it is amazing to hear that you guys actually met on a tour group in Hokkaido 10 years ago. A real-life case of serendipity! We love listening to the story through your vows and we are sure everyone who witnessed the ceremony feels the same. Always make each other your top priority and make love the focal point of your everyday life! Happy wedding! :D

Shan + Camille [Edited Highlights]

This wedding had separate vibes for 2 parts of the day. The intimate church ceremony in the morning and the celebratory mood at White Rabbit in the noon. Shan and Camille is an awesomeee couple. They made us feel really comfortable around them with their super friendly nature. :)

The lunch had everything in it. From the wonderful speeches, songs by their friends and even a surprise performance from Shan to Camille, which caught her by surprise. He sang so well that it drew absolute silence from the guests, just to enjoy him serenading to her. The screenshot of this kiss is the exact moment after the performance.

May you both grow and forever cultivate a fulfilling love with one another. Congratulations and happy marriage! :D

Alex + Jolene [Split Day Edit]

Alex and Jolene make a really cute couple. They are very popular amongst their friends and Jolene even had her makeup done by them as she opted for pure simplicity. They also helped with Jolene's mum and each other's makeup. It is a real blessing to have friends like that! :D

Alex and his groomsmen also showed their inner creativity by conjuring a song in a matter of minutes that really stuck in the head for a long time! A typical case of stuck-song syndrome.

The holy matrimony was an emotional event as they read their own personalized vows and finally, agreeing to kiss one another (they were saving it when we asked them to kiss during the photo-shoot). Till we meet again someday. As the great man, Ric Flair, once said, WOOO! (an inside joke). :P

Hua Bin + Kelly [Edited Highlights]

Every year, we work on a few weddings that truly inspire us and also reminds us of why we started Rekord Haus in the first place. To bring genuine emotions and also a niche style that we proudly call our own. Hua Bin and Kelly's wedding is one of those.

From the get-go in the morning, they received us with wide, open arms and making sure we were well-taken care of. They fed our bellies and also seek our advice seriously, making sure we were armed with the best possible conditions to gather all the shots. :)

As you can see from the Edited Highlights, Hua Bin is an avid collector of Marvel replicas. Imagine the surprise we got when we stepped into the room where Kelly had her makeup! It was also her idea to wear the Infinity Gauntlet and Captain America's shield. The look on Hua Bin's face was priceless! At least the collection was put to good use haha.

Hua Bin and Kelly, we cannot thank you enough for all the kindness and love you showered upon us. Both of you are definitely one of a kind and we really hope to meet someone like you again. As the song goes 'You make my whole world feel so right when it's wrong, That's why I know you are the one'. This song cannot be any more apt for you guys! :D

Charles + Angie [Same Day Edit]

We knew Angie and Charles from an ex-couple of ours. The positive vibe was really strong in our first meet-up with them as their easy-going nature and friendliness struck a big impression in us. They really trusted us to push the idea of the interviews through even though we only have a month left to work on it. We are glad that everything fell into place so smoothly in the end. :)

It was the first time we filmed at Marcello, a beautiful venue that incidentally, also held a wedding for the first time. The couple was also kind enough to offer us seats to let us feel welcome like all their guests. It was truly a night of joyous celebrations, one that we will always remember in the many years to come.

Gabriel + Nicole [Same Day Edit]

Many couples are not used to being in front of a camera that much, especially with both Photographer and Videographers around them. Which is why it is of much importance for us to stay out of their personal space while constantly staying on stealth mode filming in the background. Gabriel and Nicole are both a shy couple by nature. They shared some beautiful and yet, subtle moments together which only lasted seconds that we were fortunate to catch on camera.

Guo Yi + Yin Wen [Same Day Edit]

This is my childhood friend's wedding. The reason why you do not see me during gatecrashing is that I would rather be filming than getting tortured by the games! The matchup between the Golddiggers (bridesmaids) VS the Shinobi Boyz (groomsmen) was pure entertainment. :P

The feeling is really nice to be involved especially when it is your best friend's wedding. Planning a wedding is indeed not a simple task. Many couples have told us how daunting it can be to write their personalized vows or speeches. We greatly underestimated them until we offered our assistance to Guo Yi and Yin Wen. The solemnization ceremony triggered a lot of tears and also waves of laughter. Most importantly, everyone was drawn most strongly to those times in their lives when they connect in a profound way to one another.

This is, without a doubt, one of the most memorable days of our lives. To my old pal, Guo Yi and Yin Wen, may our friendships long continue until we become living antiques. We love you both to the moon and back! :D

Guo Yi + Yin Wen [Proposal Video // Mauritius Île Plate]

We first heard about Mauritius from an adventurous couple of ours who frequents there for wind surfing. Guo Yi, a really close friend of ours, was contemplating a location for his proposal at the time and Yin Wen is a diehard diving fanatic. After we suggested Mauritius to the both of them, the whole plan slowly came into fruition. :P

To disguise the whole proposal idea, we made it into a group trip with other friends tagging along as well. We could not film with proper equipments as that would be way too obvious. A lot of stuff were filmed mostly on GoPro and the more cinematic shots on DSLR.

Mauritius is indeed the perfect beach getaway with the numerous attractions. Hiking up Le Morne Brabant was definitely an immersive experience for us as we were rewarded with a truly breathtaking view over the Indian Ocean and Mauritius’ beautiful southern region. We got many shots of the couple along the way which really brings the truest nature of their relationship to the front! :D

It took us quite awhile to decide on an exact spot for the proposal as we had weather issues i.e cyclones and turbulent windy days! We finally settled on Île Plate, a.k.a Flat Island, an island known for its crystal clear waters and as it is less visited by tourists, the place offers a more intimate atmosphere on its beautiful white beaches. Fortunately, the cyclone left us and the proposal couldn't have turned out any better.

Watching back on all the footages does bring back fond and nostalgic memories of the trip. This is a once in a lifetime event and how will we ever get to do this again? We are glad to have captured this on camera and relive the moments for as long as it can be. Take us back to paradise! :)

Wei Da + Henny [Same Day Edit]

We have come a long way with Wei Da and Henny. We were there when Wei Da went down on his knees to propose in Shirakawago, Japan. We also filmed their vows when they had their solemnization earlier in this year at Como. And finally down to the day of the wedding ceremony at St. Regis with their family and friends. :)

Philip + Shu Ling [Same Day Edit]

Chubby superheroes. Now we have seen it all. Philip and his groomsmen put on quite a show as they endured intense heat and convenience to tackle the gatecrashing games with much aplomb! :D

The day is finally here! It was certainly a long time coming for both of them to tie the knot. We came a really long way with Shu Ling as we knew her as a bridesmaid from many weddings before. We went through so many weddings together and it felt a tad nostalgic to see everyone gathered together again. Meeting our couples brought back so many wonderful memories from the days when we were still sharping our craft. Fortunately, we managed to grab a full shot with the whole gang!

Philip and Shu Ling, words cannot express how happy we are for you. A big congratulations on reaching this lovely milestone of conjugal bliss. Shu Ling, we hope to see you at bridesmaid duties again! :P

Jeremy + Alice [Split Day Edit]

It was an emotional day for Jeremy and Alice. There were a lot of poignant moments that really signifies the unwavering bond of the couple. They specifically picked the song 'Brave for You' by The XX. A song about finding personal or relationship strength during difficult times. Getting to know them more through the letters they wrote for one another, the lyrics of the song really speaks volume on their relationship. We cannot be happier how everything pieced together so well. :)
