#my art #commission #Another day other comm!!#Incredibly proud of this one OMGA #With this piece in particular I made sure to stretch out the time I spent on it. Something I often rarely do #I tend to complete my commission the day of or the day after I recieve payment #Not the healthiest I'm sure but I also feel the need to get the work do as soon as I can #My mindset of 'I want to feel like I've earned this money' as I talk about previously #Of course I know my limits and completing a work like this in one or two day is not one of them #And I'm happy I took my time! I think this came out wonderfully and I'm very happy the Faint loved it so much hehe #There was a lot of lore to work with and a lot of element to play around with #That and it was just really fun walking on an 'epic' piece again #An influence with this work is my love of double spreads in manga/comics #So much love and detail pour into each line. So much story communicated in one huge page #It's also possible I went all out on this piece because I couldn't work on it the day of payment for quite a while #So the need to just go super into the lore I've been given really took a hold of me hehe #That said I'm not sure when I'll be able to make another epic as of now #For resting reasons of course but also I'm a tiny bit Intimidated by the idea #These are so fun to do but once again I must know my limits #Don't mean I'm not open to the idea when I'm ready for it of course hehe

#hollow knight #silksong #phantom silksong #silksong phantom #my art #fanart #Meant to post these here as well for a bit and as it turns out it's Phantom's prompt for HKAM this year hehe #These weren't made for the prompt itself but I'm posting this now but I'm evil you see #Though on a serious note I'm incredible proud of this!#As seen and said previous I'm very flexible when it comes to making designs for Phantom & Lace #I have no real rules or expections for how each design comes out besides having fun with the process #But this design really calls to me #I think my favorite thing to draw about be Phantom's 'hair'#I like tentacles/tendrils/loose things that can wrap around each other #I'm also a big huge of swirls and spirals #So combining those two elements made everything 'click' for me and Phantom has been my muse for about a week now hehe #There's other elements about this design that call to me like the stitching/tailcoats/mask and I can't help but love them all #Also for those with a keen eye that is my attempt at making their pin more like a flamberge hehe #I can't speak much on how practical truly would be; but I imagine Phantom's fight style leans into confusion #A blade that creates a uncomfortable vibration with what clashes with it. A blade that leaves a confusing wound #All things an opponent has to learn on the wing as Phantom uses their fog to draft in and draft of sight #There's also something that can be said about how it represents Phantom's independence and mental state #A weapon that while has some resemblance to Pharloom's traditional pin is something now of Phantom's own making #A wavy blade that show the peaks of Phantom's health and power with the lows representing the aguish from possibly centuries discarded #Not sure if I'll fully stick with it but I'm glad I was able to try my hand in it and talk about what it would mean for Phantom hehe #Now the only 'issue' I have with my takes on Phantom's design and but extend Lace's...I think I miss my bugs #In a previous post I talked about how I view the Silken Siblings as uncanny horror to the common bug #But feels like I should given them an *inch* of buglike quailties #It's like the difference between how a robot with a screen-face and a robot with perfectly human eyes can be viewed #With my designs for far they just feel like mildy strange/interesting bug mimics than something that is straight up *off*

A Delight Comm for Scorpioncandy 💚

#my art #commission #At it again!!#This series of comms I'll be posting came at just the right time OMGA #Firstly they helped me get back into the flow artwise #Secondly these came right before my birthday which help me be a lot less anxious about buying food hehe #And once again I have to say I'm quite happy with this one as well!#I'm still working on adding a balance between my need to have more clustered backgrounds and have a clear focusing point #I feel like there I manage is get the *idea* of how I'd like to handle that #There's still things I'm sure I can tweak or work on #But overall if I can manage to make my MSpaint works consistently like this I'd be very happy #I like cluster I like mess;I'm sure I've made that no secret. But it feels like the view can easily be loss in how I've done so in the past #But that's all up to the viewer to truly decide I'm just happy I'm making improvement where I'd like them!#That and I also had fun drawing this character hehe #It's been a good while since I've focus on more rounded/curved shapes #And going that to that here was delightful!#This silly is also a touch more silly; note the 👀#I don't know how managed to make them so 'perfect' looking but I am incredibly happy OMGA #I just had a lot of fun with this one and I'm proud of what I was able to do with it #Also before I forget THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO WISHED ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY #I too shy to reply for some reason but just know I'm incredibly grateful. #Reks Speaks #An incredible milestone all things considered #Part of me wants to say it strange aging this fast but oddly enough I'm happy with it #I have a unique mixture of feeling about being 21 but even I find mostly positives #I'm really lucky to reach this age and I've been having an incredible day #So all my anxieties and worries I once had are melting nicely #I'm sure I'll dwell on them later but again that's for later #And once again I'd like to thank all of you for sticking around #Whether it be for years or only a few days I'm grateful you've come to observe me #May the rest of the year be joyous for us 💚

#my art #commission #object oc #Down with another lovely comm!!#When it comes to this work in particular it felt like a return to form of sorts #With it both being an object character and a focus on nature #Starting with the ladder; I'm a really big fan of drawing plants/trees what have you #Whenever I'm given plants to work with I find this cool ways of stylzing them one way or the other #Whether it be following swirls and spirals or putting an emphasis on stranger shapes #Whenever I get to draw a tree I find my myself really happy hehe #It's also just nice being able to look at flowers #Try to figure out how to simplify them/draw them/ or just looking at them for the sake of it #It's all so very nice and I'm happy to do it #As for the former I just really like drawing objcts show characters hehe #I don't draw them often anymore but whenever I'm given the chance too an oddly nostalgic #The shapes and feel of the characters come back to me as I draw and I remember sweeter memories #And I'm just happy during it. It's nice drawing objects and I'm happy that the spark of have for them has faded #Definitely dimmed but there's still an ember that provides a very nice feeling #And generally speaking this comm was incredibly helpful in other ways #While in the middle of an art block I feeling quite unconfident in my work #And then when I started to work on this everying sort of clicked back into piece #Still in a block but I'm proud I was able to get something like this down during the middle of it #I hope it fades off soon; but until then I'm glad I still have it in me to make works I'm proud of #Money being a movitator or not it just feels good being able to work on someone I find pride in while making someone else really happy hehe

#my art #commmission #fanart #hollow knight #hollow knight oc #silksong #Back with another comm!!#This is a delightful fusions of when it come to the two colored comms I've posted here #This is the same Senta as before designed for the FPK unvierse if you're familiar hehe #And I will say I find this design very lovely #For me this design hits a fine balance of bug and humanoid anatomy that I was allows to indulgent in what I love about both #On the bug side: Plated segments & delightful patterns #Humanoid: Muscles structures and the shapes that make them #Both here in ways that I get to study what I love about the human body and why I'm so attached to capture unique bug details #That hair is also a very nice bonus hehe #Hair is one of my favorite things to draw yet if feels like don't show that off enough #You can tell a grand story with it comes to designing hair and I hope a bit of that is showcased here #And more generally speaking I enjoy the colors here!#As said before I'm learning from my previous colored comm to make colors and lines bring out the best in each other #And while I can't say I'm 100% to where I'd like to be I'm very happy I'm showing off what I've learned more clearly #I'm practicing this in my personal works of course but when it comes to commission I feel the need to really push myself #Of course it's the fact I'm being paid for the piece so I want to show off my best #And it's also I feel the need to 'earn' it all the same #Like I want the commissioner to know they're getting something *I'm* also incredibly proud of and pleased with #Not the healthiest mindset I'm sure but I do feel like my art is worth its price when I push myself that extra bit further #I'm just happy that others happen to like my art either way hehe #Also fun fact: I made it a point to hide the warframe logo in both Issun's comms. Nostalgistic Bouncing Bliss Delightful Comm for @aliasmisc !!

#my art #commission #Had a great chunk of fun with one!!#What made the process of this comm in particular was the extra chunk of direction I got #Without getting too much into the detail the commissioner had a lot of great ideas sketched out a few nicely #Which is a semi-new thing for me when it come to my comms #For whatever I thought I'd be offend if something like that happened #Like my sketch weren't enough or that I'm doing something wrong they had to correct #But suprisingly I felt no such feelings #In fact I was really happy whenever they provided something #Not only was in a good reference it did feel like I 'put in a box' as it were #Like I was still very much free but I had something to fall back out in case I need another point of reference #I can't say I'll feel like this all the time with all my future commissions #But this was an overally really nice experience hehe #As for work itself I'm quite proud!#Like many I love music - especially its symbols #So find fun way to add those into the piece was really fun hehe #Oddly enough it did make me quite nostalgic going back and looking at symbol as they remind me of my eariler years of playing #Truly things go full circle as it were #This is also a piece where I got to put a ton of reference to various things with no really rhyme (Ha) but indeed a reason #So I also had a lot of fun adding those where I saw fit #Overall just a lovely piece and I'm really happy I got to make it!

Two Characters, One For Each Shot (Click for quality)

#dnd #dungeons and dragons #d&d #dnd oc #my art #my ocs #As the name might imply these are two characters I play for my monthly D&D oneshots hehe #To summarize both:#Flameskull is named Cin. She's a long dead humanoid ronin looking fun time in her afterlife #Her favorite past time is finding lonely souls; offering them a near endless amount of booze; and listening to them share far too much #Her drinking buddies happen to die quite often for whatever reason. A shame #Dragon-Tortle goes by Z and they're a barbarian stoner #They love smoking all matters of weed and doing all matters of psychedelics #To enter a 'rage' they simply smoke a strain cover in blood and watch the world make down into pretty shapes #Blood looks very pretty under this high and they look seeing it #These two where really fun to play in both oneshot hehe #Cin for now is my favorite but that's likely because I was able to do a lot more with her #I still like Z though and I hope to play them again one of these days #Highlights for both shots: Cin walk into a room full of methane gas and did a fireball's worth of damage #Also she slit Jacob from Twilight's throat and drank his blood #Z drank their bong water and shot it at people; boiling at least one person alive #I fear the context of nether of these make it any better BUT it's fun and I really enjoyed these two hehe #And since these oneshots are monthly it gives me plenty of reason to designs more characters and think of funny gimmicks #May the passing days fill me with inspiration

I always get the same advice. "Don't use MS Paint." "Use anything but MS Paint." "MS Paint looks bad." And all that, yet I fall back on that built-in program almost every time and it's the one I have the most confidence in.

So, it's nice to see that you not only have mastered that software but are also doing commissions with it. And I just find that awesome.

Anyways, Imma be studying said commissions to see what I can apply to my own works and wish you a good life.

First things first: OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH BRO!! Please have a wonderful life my friend, and thank you so very much for sending me this Terribly sorry for replying for such a late, OMGA. Part of me wanted to charm this ask as personal charm for myself, and I do think this deserves a proper response! The funny thing about my relationship with MS paint is that it became one of my main drawing programs on accident. I wanted to entertain some buds one day and I decided doodling was the way to do it. I went in thinking about how I can make some 'bad', and as you described above, MS paint looked like it'd work for that Once I started drawing however, something about MS just *clicked* with me. I love how the lines looked, it was simple to use, and it was very freeing compared to how I treated other programs. I went into wanted to make bad art, but I was so incredibly pleased with everything I managed to make during that stream With how I use MS paint, it reminds me of the appeal of working with pen and paper. There's no need to worry about layers, colors, blending modes, what have you. All that matters to me when I draw in MS is my lines, how I can make use of my heavily limited pallet, and how I can resize the canvas very freely Ever since, I've just loved using the program, going back to it again and again, whether it be to doodle or make something I can be proud of. I truly do believe some of my personal best works were made with the software. And as a result, when it comes to works that people pay for, I want the certainty that what I'm making for them lives up to my personal standards I see the value of my works in other programs of course, but there's just something so comfortable about MS that really helps me get my more extravagant ideas on the digital page. I love that comfort, and it's been nothing short of a blessing for me Back onto you, I'm so incredibly happy that my MS paint commission are able to help you on your journey!! I'm forever learning, but I do help that whenever you find within my work is able to strengthen your own. It's an honor to be an inspiration like this, and for that I thank you I've been either thinking about this ask or reading it over again whenever I open MS recently, and it's added an extra sense of joy in my heart with every drawing session.
