Relationships can be impossible because people are apart of them. This blog is about the stuff you never hear about love. I am just a random person who has studied love for years and want to pass along the things I learned. Love secret. The Greek had 4 different words for love.

1. Agápe (ἀγάπη agápē) means "love: esp. charity; the love of God for man and of man for God."

2. Éros (ἔρως érōs) means "love, mostly of the sexual passion."

3. Philia (φιλία philía) means "affectionate regard, friendship," usually "between equals." Philadelphia was named after this Greek word. "City of brotherly love"

4. Storge (στοργή storgē) means "love, affection" and "especially of parents and children"

These are good to understand because you can't put love in one category. It is way more than 1 dimensional.

Basically limerence is what people feel when they think they are in "love" with another person. What happes is you can't focus on other things fully, you think about the other person all the time. I like to call it fake love. I call it fake love because in reality you may not know one thing about the person you "love" but you can't imagine a life without them. Limerence can last as long as 2 years, and after limerence wears off that's when the relationship usually gets really tough.
