Von kaiser is lwky one of my favourite German stereotypes in media (btw I don't support stereotypes at all I'm just explaining why I somewhat like his one)

Aside from him just generally being my favourite character in punch out!! I love the fact that while he's technically a "villian" they didn't go down the route to make him the stereotypical evil nazi soldier like most games go down when making a German villain (even if said villian was born before or after ww2). And it's somewhat refreshing to see that von kaiser is based of a ww1 soldier and even better the fact that they didn't exactly use that as an advantage to make him seem like a morally evil character, they used it to make him the reality of most if not all soldiers which is traumatised and shell-shocked. I'd say they also used it to make him seem strict and militaristic but its refreshing to see a German military man NOT be based of ww2.

Btw this doesn't mean I agree with the things germany did during ww1, no sides are angels and they all did horrific things!!

Uhm that's it for my pep talk!! This was my first proper post in the punch out!! Community I hope I'm accepted and I'm looking forward to making so many more mooties and friends :))!!
