So I slacked on the picture taking, but we successfully made it to Santa Cruz to see Frankie one last time to do the robot. And then slinked our way to San Francisco to hang out with Sas and get a mini presentation on big business farming ideas in Silicon Valley. Very interesting.

Re-piping a 65 foot well. Don't mean to brag but these hawk eyes placed that pump in its place.

We basically live in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Following the goat herd through the cloudy muddy fields with 6 inches of mud on our hems.

So we've found ourselves on a retired couples "farm", Rocking 7 Ranch, in the Salinas Valley. Animals include: chickens, guineas, geese, ducks, peacocks, horse, pony, donkeys, alpacas, pygmy goats, and one maniac dog.

We've made it to a farm in the land that inspired Steinbeck. Back of the grid so posts and communication is at a stand still. There are however, lots of little animals and cute old people. Basically no water because of the drought so rain dances everyday are required.
