☩ ; – they’re cold. they have no hearts– nothing beats in their chests, nothing touches them. all of their faces are blank, expressionless as they walk among humans, their wings hidden but you can  f e e l  who they are, their presence sends you chills down your spine.

and humans may ask, how can life be possible with them down on earth, controlling, watching each and every of their move? it just works, it has to. god doesn’t want the human race to disappear, no, but neither has he made them to sin, to break his rules. everything had a rule. it was a free country, yet one wrong move, and the next morning they’d find your cold, bloodied body hanging from a building, blood dripping, painting the ground red.

everyone fears them, the holy ones, the pure ones. their wings, if you glance at them, they’d leave you blind- how could such beautiful, perfect creatures be so cruel?

as biased as it sounds, this idea was meant for an au between two people but i thought.. why not make it bigger? why not gather a group of people and have fun? as the ad says, it is AIM based because it is easier to do things on there, though if you do want to make a tumblr account, you’re my guest! also, if anyone is interested in the idea but doesn’t want to make an exo muse just to join and they’d rather make another muse and use this plot as their background, that’s totally fine with me! please note that this idea wasn’t entirely mine, credits go to whoever wrote something along the lines of.. “an au where angels are cruel and they kill people because they sin, etc” - got inspired by there.

okay, i said it sounded biased but i didn’t tell why.. because it is for exo members! and before you get the wrong idea, it isn’t because we ( jonvgrey and i ) thought it would be cool to do that. anyways! 12 is already a huge number of people and well, i thought about it better and… some female muses wouldn’t do us bad. i mean, twelve guys.. so please, if you’re a female muse, don’t be shy, please, i’d be more than happy to include you on there! the more, the merrier. ( i’d say that the limit of people is 17 otherwise it’d be a reaaaaal mess there )

now, there are some ‘rules’ – don’t take them as so, just.. ideas so this works:

▌rule number one, is that you gotta have fun! haha– marina & the diamonds reference but, really, having fun is the main point of this, you know. ▌ic drama is hella, ooc isn’t. i’m already in an aim rp with some people and.. well, some mixed ic and ooc and it just got messy– no. if your muse doesn’t like mine, i’ll be fine with that, and i won’t make drama so please, respect this. i want the au to be fun and also be useful to write, develop and try new things. someone not liking your muse ic doesn’t mean they feel the same for you ooc. ▌don’t leave anyone out. and i mean it. being left out is shitty and i know, we’ll be 17, someone might get left out but please, do not. i want us all to get along. ▌people that are overly sexual or whose muses are like that too when we barely started the au, they’ll get warnings and eventually, they’ll get kicked out. a joke or two doesn’t hurt but think that some people might be uncomfortable, both ic and ooc, and they’re angels, in the end. it’d take time for them to even imagine sex with someone. ▌you must have an aim account. i’m not asking you to make another aim for the muse since i myself doubt i’ll make another one for mine, but yeah, it is aim based so duh! ▌there’ll be an ooc chat for us to plot and bond cause that’s important, no? share ideas, fangirl, whatever you’d like! ▌if someone makes you feel bad, please, do tell me. or talk to them. i don’t mind either. this is important too guys, let’s face it. if say, you’re avoiding someone and they happen to get inside the rp, tell me. i’ll personally talk to them and ask them to make no drama or, if you feel really bad, they’ll be removed. ▌okay, now as for the interactions.. i thought, it would be better if we didn’t make a huge group chat for everyone to talk in, what if we keep things more.. secret? the angels can have a groupchat (they’re supposed to know each other!) where they gossip about the humans and stuff, and the humans can have that, too, but us the muns aren’t alloweed to peek in! it is strictly a secret and these things can be revealed in their interactions. everyone will interact with everyone privately, yeah? it doesn’t matter who they are or not. we can plot relations between them, too, everything works with patience! ▌this brings me to another thing: there must be at least 8 angels and 9 humans, or the other way around. females, of course, they can too be angels– that’s cooler than all exo being angels, no? which brings me to another thing.. i know we all have otps and stuff but please, let’s forget about these for a while. it isn’t supposed to be a romantic type of au though romance can and of course it’ll happen, just.. focus more on the plot first. ▌yolo??

year 2101, angels have taken over earth, forcing their beliefs and their justice on humans. sinners? dead. criminals? dead, too. you couldn’t take a step without being seen or feeling watched, you could barely breathe the air without fearing that an angel found it wrong, that they’d kill you there and in that moment. angels, so beautiful yet evil. who would’ve thought? they’re cold, heartless killers, a human life doesn’t mean much to them since there are many of humans on earth, some must die, right? angels, so beautiful even when their pale, cold hands are covered in blood and the white feathers of their wings stained with red.

but what happens when there are certain humans that god can’t label as sinners, criminals or anything of the kind? they’re just.. there, doing this or that bad thing, but it was never enough to punish any of them. so god ordered few angels to keep an eye on these people, to watch them closely– even get as near as becoming friends. you couldn’t trust humans, not when they seemed to get away with everything.

neither could you trust an angel. it might be beautiful, its words a melody, a sweet whisper into your ear but do not forget: they killed your mother, your grandmother and many, many other humans during the time of 100 years.

    No. At a time, William might have, but with age has he tucked away any belief of the supernatural. He’s never had an encounter with anything of paranormal nature, and until then, his beliefs-- or lack thereof-- involving such things will remain the same.

      It’s the closest thing to fresh air, and William is   hardly content. Nonetheless, he heaves a deep sigh,  settling into the park bench with his head tilted back.  Ironically enough, William has a cigarette between his  teeth, releasing exhaust in gentle, fluffy streams of smoke. 

       “How rude of me --” Lost in introspection, he’d failed   to notice the figure at his side. Fishing the cartoon of smokes    from his blazer, William offers them with an outstretched arm. 

       “Help yourself.”

    In the rare occurrence William finds himself swimming in a crowd of people with too little concrete and far too many elbows in his proximity, he tries, to his best ability, not to touch nor speak to anyone. He’s quite good at it too. Small, and lithe in stature, he can easily slips through the throng of pedestrians without a single crease in his shirt. 

    And so, when such words are spat in his face, William is unable to shake them off. Above all, he cannot condone rudeness, especially if he isn’t the one at fault. William quirks a brow, lips pursing. The two are hardly at a convenient spot to be quarreling, William having stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. 

   “I beg your pardon?”

    Is he overreacting? Perhaps.

    William has only a quirked brow to offer, a scoff pushing past plush lips. However the stranger -- tall, lean and a hair too close for William’s comfort -- is probably right. He currently more closely resembles the dead rather than the living -- sunken cheeks, ash-white complexion, and five days of fitful sleep hanging beneath his eyes. The struggle of finals week is a plague that discriminates against no one. Even so, the other has no right to make such an accusation, no matter how off-hand or friendly it may have been when said. 

    He inhales a breath, adjusting his tie in preparation to nudge the other into his place. However the thought quickly fizzles away, and William’s shoulders sag in defeat. 

    “Yes. Very much so actually.”

coughs uhm... i’d really like to apologize due to my sudden disappearance on this account. school got pretty overwhelming. however, in hindsight i don’t see the difficulty in simply putting william on hiatus. anywho, i’ve returned! thanks for all of you that’ve stuck around.

    William perhaps should’ve had more discretion in his choice to get shit-faced drunk on a Tuesday night. He’d taken no heed to the reality that he had work tomorrow. Instead, drinking away his cares – if you will. Small in stature as he is, William could not hold his alcohol either. Lonely, and a tad peckish, he stumbles out of the bar with the intention of finding himself a snack. 

    Too broke. Too broke. Gross. He walks – stumbles past fluorescent, neon signs, squinting at each one with increasing scrutiny. Finally, William’s feet slow before redemption in the form of a pair of flickering golden arches. He steps inside after a brief fiasco with the glass door, pulling for a solid minute when the realization to push dawns on his dimly lit mind. There, he ambles up to the counter -- barely heeding the menu board and simply requesting, “a goddamn hamburger, please.” William, far too drunk to be in public, gives the cashier a short amount of money. He replies to her with a slurred but, generous, “keep the change.” The cashier it seems, takes pity on him, ringing up his order despite his insufficient amount of payment. 

    Soon enough, William’s order is ready and the same cashier even takes the liberty of bringing out the McDouble on a tray to him. William mumbles a gratuitous ‘tee-ank youuu’ in reply. Eating a burger is a lot more work than William remembers. His limbs feel heavy already. He needs more alcohol to get through this. Damn, if only McDonald’s had a mini bar, he thinks sullenly.
