Bad language is a stage all children go through, and it dies with time when they learn they’re not attracting attention with it. Hotheaded isn’t. The raven haired male stood where he was, biting his lip the moment he heard the other’s reply with nose slightly wrinkled. It was unexpected and he decided there was no point in quibbling, thus why he was silent. When a few seconds passed, Shai combed his slightly damp bangs back, his soft brown eyes still remained red watery and the dark circles below somehow became even more visible, complimented by his deep sunken cheeks. Music again swelled around them; the last note lingered while he continued checking on the store stock. It was his shift and there was no other people apart from them. Subdued, he fixed his attention upon the list in hand, marking quietly without spewing any word, knowing the other seemed to be waiting for him to spark their conversation further yet he stayed still, doing his job in silence.

Sheltered in the midst of bookshelves is how some of her time off shift is usually spent. This library is located near a university which answered her question as to why It is still operating after nine thirty in the evening. She always believed that reading to a certain amount will guarantee her results, however, this late at night outside, she never thought anyone would find a quiet indy public library more comfortable than the environment back in their own room. Megumi recently stumbled upon an interesting article on the internet regarding a book but with how aged the piece is she doubts visiting the bookstore will give her anything. The library is no doubt a more promising choice. As usual, the detective snuck canned tea into the library and managed to find the book within several minutes of scavenging. Headed straight for the seat, she noticed a presence several tables away. It was him, the man who read more than she ever did in weeks in a day. Not that she has been watching him all this time, she just assumed from all the books and a number of times she passed the male in this cramped library. They never spoke, not once, but he didn’t seem friendly enough to invite her into approaching. Besides, It’s a library she should keep the curiosity to herself. 

Her eyes unconsciously watched him as the other continued to brush his digits along the page following with the sentences. He looked concentrated but for a minute she could’ve sworn he looked as If he was going to pass out and leave the reality to the realm of letters. The typical trait of a hard working student. The longer she observed the more he looked torn and exhausted, he was probably convincing himself that finishing another page while half conscious will get him somewhere. He needed to be told. 

“Hey there big guy, you alright?” the spare can of tea was gently placed onto the table. She gestured the can to the startled student then dipped her head slightly. “Yes, I’m the lady who asked you to reach for that dusty book on the top shelf”

Chanyeol really likes where he lives. He’s lived with his parents at their home, at a decent dorm in campus when he was attending university, and even at some high end condos once when he thought he’d just total his student loan for a semester with the ‘frat kids’ of his school. After that, he’s had to search for his own place, and he had tried two neighborhoods before finally moving into his current one.

He really liked it, the area safely guarded and secluded. One could consider it a wealthier area, the houses large and spacious and usually occupying doctors, lawyers, or even detectives. He lives in an apartment complex that’s big enough that he has plenty space in between him and his next door neighbor (he doesn’t even know him). There’s few spaces in the building, giving away a feeling that almost like you’re living in your own house.

Except, Chanyeol’s been lucky to be the only one to have a front-door neighbor, who just happens to be his same age. 

It’s on a warm July day when the heaters in the whole building break, and it gets hot fast. Chanyeol opens all his windows, pulls away all his curtains, before he finally resorts to opening his door to allow more ventilation. That’s where he meets Kris, who has his own door open and a warm look to his face. 

It’s a few weeks later, the conditioning in the apartment still unfixed, when Chanyeol hears the soft sound of music filtering through his apartment. He frowns down at his book, unable to name the song before he’s calling out. “What song is that? Are you into ballad music?”

Opinion on;

Character in general: To me, it seems as though Yifan is a well respected member of the krp community, and one who is fairly popular at that. I have only had one interaction so far, and a newer one as of today, so  I haven’t seen much of Yifan’s character for myself. However, I can say ythat from what other threads I’ve seen floating about, Yifan seems to be quite an interesting person to become friends with, and is portrayed ina way that doesn’t seem overbearing or domineering. I’ve always admired Yifan face claims for the mere fact that most seem to be highly respected, but some are so much so to the degree that it seems…narcissistic? I think that’s the wrong word, but I am unsure. Either way, this one doesn’t seem to be that way, and I would love to have Jongdae interact with Yifan more.

How they play them: I think mun’s writing style is virtually flawless and something to fawn over. Once again, I this for the amount of elegance Yifan portrays, it is matched in the writing style that he is elaborated through, and it flourishes and compliments well. 

The Mun: I haven’t really interacted much mun-to-mun, and this honestly makes me sad because we are mutuals on AIM, and I used to see so many updates from them and they were always quirky or interesting or just plain silly. I always wanted to respond but…we weren’t close enough…[cries].

RP with them: We currently have two active threads, but neither have been developed really, so I’m looking forward to them.

Overall Opinion: Someone that should definitely appear more on my dashboard, and someone who I would love to interact with more, both IC and OOC!
