like, shes so bashed around by the complex emotions created fromt he events of the game and her connections to Chell shes in fuckin denial about how much she misses her.

Then the rest is just a variance of her saying she cares about you more then before, just worded like she doesnt like you, and pointing out the one thing chell is good at "being someone elses problem" (which i would elaborate on but i doubt you guys want tot dlve into the depths of the portal/HL lore)
Basically, first few sets of the stages of grief, OR, more accurately, a depressive person pushing their one companion away. and ive read enough books and written enough essays in my Psych class to know that.

Ok but what would happen if Time Traveling Karl ever met Philza? Like, we know he’s “immortal” (is that canon or just like, suspected canon?),
But why if Karl met him first after time traveling, and Karl is like “WTF” because he doesn’t know philza that well. After that, any sort of story could happen, doesn’t particularly matter.
At the end of the story, he goes back to the DSMP, and when he appears back, philza is there to help him up after he fell through the portal, with the words “it’s been a while, Karl”.
Idk I just think that’d be hype.
OK so, i saw the new Derivakat video for technoblade and was like “70 people is not enough to make me feel the bloodlust of a chaotic pig” So i made this: The video, plus 6 more edited in to give it more of a true "chaotic, voices in your head" esk feel. In portal 2, one of the posters shows the original design for the portal gun. Big, clunky, a backpack stepped with a tube to the arm. And in portal 1, the gun is complete, sleek, handheld.
And the same go’s for the turrets, and cubes, and cores, and particle walls and all the other tech in the laboratory.
Glad0s says they are testing the portal gun, but when you think about it, when testing a technology like that, you do stress testing. Speed of the shots, time between shots, speed of opening of portals, how long can they stay open, how to turn them off, and so on.
But that’s already been found. It’s complete, along with everything else.
So what is she really testing?
You could say that humans, and specifically Chell, are the actual test subjects, but Atlas and P-Body quickly replace that. But she continues testing. And testing, and so much testing.
Black Mesa exists, and it’s obvious that Glad0s is at least somewhat aware of both them and the outside struggles, if Cave Johnson’s recordings and the ending of portal 1 song is to believed.
So the combine...Glad0s must know about them. And her prime directive, as all ai and robots have, can be predicted as follows
1) Test (Primarily the portal gun)
2) Protect (The lab)
3) Complete previous two at all costs.
She tests and tests and tests, but she knows the combine will find her eventually, so she enacts the second directive: defensive testing.
The portal gun is a revolutionary tech, something on par with the combine. And in fact, could be useful against them.
Chell was the weapons tester, the gun a small scale version of a device capable of transferring momentum and matter instantly, a technology capable of incredible feats, or of which is infinite acceleration. In a vacuum, an object affected by gravity in a portal well (one portal above another), would create near light speed projectiles that could be used as defense. Their power could destroy he very moon the portal surfaces are made of, and the range of the portals is infinite. So any manner of object can be used.
Glad0s isn’t testing a gun that makes portals, shes testing the limits of the portals so she can make a gun UTILITIZING PORTALS!
