      This town was so different then home… But one thing was upsetting him more then being plucked from Blithe, being uprooted, being set into a test. It was almost funny really; like clockwork, there would always be a time of day when new arrivals would appear with the same barrage of questions. And although she was fairly new herself, it got old pretty quick.  But this one question was peculiar. And Sucy couldn't find it within her to ignore it.

“ No one dies here. “ The witch answered, no quip or awe to her monotonous voice. She took slow steps towards the young boy. “ Not permanently. People are killed and they come back the next day, perfectly fine. ”

“... So the rumors go. That might be why you can’t see any ghosts.”

I have no idea! It’s not me who revives them but it’s the scientists running this place apparently! I’ve heard the same applies to us! If we die, they deny us death and bring us back from the death no matter how gruesome a death we have! And those guys no matter how many times they die, it seems they think it was just a dream so they never learn their lesson!

[It was still mysterious how were the guys running this place even able to take away their powers at will after all so it would be surprising if Henry knew how did they manage to bring back people to life.]

This guy was a human-shaped book of puns whose smile hadn’t faltered even when he spoke of gruesome torture. He was either a huge manipulative tool seeking to string Sucy around or just a friendly guy who was a tad too attached to the grim reaper. The witch had chosen to believe the latter and gawked at him in bewilderment.

“You’re serious.” 

“Even if you cut off my head... drained me of my blood... and made me into chowder... I’ll come back tomorrow?” She was this close to believing him.  She almost wanted to see it in action. But killing another human just to test out a theory was,

It was only a matter of time before Wendy was addressed. After all, she just kept staring at the other during her examination of the fungi, head tilted slightly and eyes blinking much like an owl’s would. The flower in her hand was traced lightly, as it was still beginning to bloom again.

Maybe it was the girl’s odd murmurings, or maybe it was the way she inspected mushrooms with the same scrutiny Wendy often did in times of true hunger on Maxwell’s island. All Wendy knew is that she had nothing better to do, so why not remain fascinated with this girl’s examinations?

“It looks volatile. Like it has tiny volcanoes all over it.”

“Who do you want to use it on?”

Because, of course, if you had something like that in your hands, you had to have an agenda with it.

“ It is. Holding it this close to my face probably isn’t very wise. ” Not that Sucy made any effort to move it. She even gave it a small shake. If it chose to explode at that very moment it was fine; she could never stay mad at a mushroom for long.

“I’m not sure yet. The person I’d usually use this on isn’t around. And I’m sure you wouldn’t like me to use it on you... right?” She paused for a moment, lost in thought. “I don’t have any magic besides flying. I could try grinding it up into dust and using it on a large crowd... but that’ll probably result in a witch hunt.”

“... Do you have any ideas? It isn’t surprising for a little girl who have grudges these days too. Anyone you’d use this on?”

Sounds like how it was with me and mage school! And about that, there are some monsters in some areas but I wouldn’t recommend going there without your magic fully available unless you have a death wish!

Besides, those guys are hardly innocent. I kill them all the time because they are bad guys and they always show up at the next day as if nothing had ever happened so don’t worry about them!

“... Phooey.” Sucy definitely didn’t feel like being minotaur food any time soon. Flying her way out was always a possibility but what was the point? If she couldn’t experiment on monsters then she wasn’t interested in zipping around them like a fly waiting to be swatted.

character in general: Osomatsu is really a character that creeps up on you and really grabs your heart by the balls. HE’S! character in general: I LOVE HIM. I can’t watch that scene where he cries without tearing up.  Even thinking about it makes my heart ache. That was both stupendous and completely unfair. The only ability left to her was flight; why was it that this guy, as fun as he was, was free to use hexes? Was it favoritism? Seniority? This apparently bothered her more than his blunt threats of savagery against two innocent onlookers who, for some odd reason, still couldn’t move pass their fear to run from the spot. She sighed before she had even gave them a glance.

“ ... As much as I love dissolving bones, my school doesn’t allow for human test subjects. Usually. Especially not in the murdering department. ” Pretty sure you’d get expelled for that. “ Unless you know a place where we can find some monsters, I can only only learn those spells in theory but not in practice. ”

Tell me about that! I had to learn a spell myself to be able to revert time so I could rip off people’s thumbs and then be able to fix them back! But as I found out later, the spell only works temporarily so I had to stop ripping thumbs. It wasn’t as handy as I hoped for! Ehehe~
