For me, the past is completely locked away and I don’t want to waste my time dwelling on it,” the youngest Sterling child stated as he offered a smile at the end to show that he was fine. Looking up at Alex, a small glint of displeasure was evident in Joel’s brown eyes. He had brought it upon himself, that he knew, however the 18 year old was never really in the mood to discuss the past with anyone. If he had made the mistake of bringing it up or anyone else brought it up, Joel found himself lying time and time again about the emotions that crashed down on him like a tidal wave when he was reminded of his father as well the Dominants who dragged Jess, Jeff, and himself through absolute hell. “Tá sé fíneáil Alex. Iontaobhas dom nuair a rá liom go bhfuil sé i ndáiríre,” the youngest Sterling lapsed into Irish as he practically begged his friend to believe him. One more kiss to the right cheek coupled with a look that begged the middle Smythe to believe him.
