I just wanted to say I love your fic sm and I’m so excited for what’s to come. When I discovered its existence I read all 34 (at the time) chapters in a day😭 It’s so engaging and the writing is so well done, I just love it sm. The story feels so real and the characters are so well written that sometimesI forget it isn’t canon💀. Anyway I just wanted to say that ily and thanks for keeping us fed queen🙏💗

P.S. can’t wait for the rekindling of that romance tho😏 The slow burn is BURNING

Finally finished draft 2 of the next chapter and I’m happy to say there’s a line where I made my own jaw drop while writing it! I’m hoping to get it out sometime late tomorrow night but it’ll depend on how long editing takes

Finished the second draft of the next chapter and I really like how it’s turned out! I’m probably not going to get to edit it tomorrow though because I’m being dragged to two Fourth of July parties and with how hot it’s been I probs won’t have the energy to work on it when I get back home. Oh well, we’ll see what happens

Managed to edit the Arrival on Tatooine chapter today! Unfortunately the heat’s been bad here so my motivation to write is at an all time low because all I want to do is lay of the floor and sweat to death

Life’s been kicking my ass this last week so I’ve barely made any progress on the next chapter BUT I did manage to outline two more chapters and edit the travelling chapter for typos and stuff! Have to remind myself that any progress is better than no progress!!!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I have just read your monster sized fic Guess We’re Stuck Together while I’ve been home recovering from surgery and holy shit I am obsessed!!! Literally each chapter had me on my toes. This is genuinely one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read. Everything is so thought out and well balanced. I usually hate OCs/family members to the reader in fics but you wrote them in a way that was so satisfying and believable without being overbearing! I also wanted to let you know that I am in love with your Obi-Wan characterization and have also been updating my husband (huge SW fan that got me into it) about the progression of your fic and he’s even been interested to see what elements from the prequels and clone wars you have included. Thank you for the great read while I recover! I can’t wait to read more 💖🙏

Bestie let me hold your hand as I say this: this fic is only going to get LONGER. Like I’m expecting it to go well over a MILLION words by the time I’m done with it. Would it have been smarter to break it up into multiple fics for the different arcs? Yes. Am I going to do that? NOPE! It’s all or nothing over here!

Yeah, I also usually hate ocs and family members in fics but I needed to make the reader feel like a fleshed out person while also populating the world around her, ya know? I’m glad you like them! And YAYYYYY I’m glad you think my Obi-wan is in character!!!!!!! I’ve worked really hard to make him feel as true to form as possible because I just love him so much ❤️

It took three days of writers block and one day completely off to FINALLY lock in on this chapter! I thought since it’s gonna be shorter than the last few chapters that it would be easy to write but for some reason my brain didn’t want to work on it. I think it’s because I know what the next couple chapters after this are and my brain would rather work on those instead lol.

Anyways all is to say that the second draft is halfway done and I’m really gonna try hard to get it out before I have to go out of town this weekend for Father’s Day!
