我挑選日治時期在台灣發行的繪葉書（明信片）圖像，詞彙上有著異文化差異認知上的詩意以及時間和圖像傳遞的物質性意義。除了廣泛的代表性風景與當時在這 島上的日常風景外，也有當時日本藝術家與台灣藝術家所繪製的畫作被製作成繪葉書，有些在正規藝術史上有名，有些則沒被特別標記作者或陌生。

我使用色票比對繪葉書圖像的顏色，再挑選比對後周圍的色偏色彩作為上色依據，繪畫的過程像是重新復刻與再觀看，而泛黃半透明的珠光顏料繪製過往的時間痕跡同時也成為當下的圖像，隨著光線顯色抹除再度成為無以名狀的圖像與色塊。
