Okokok I just read chapter 3 of island of enchantment and I liked it

The star hook scene was sksjsjdjjdjdjdjdjjd imma going to replay and make the other choices too but I legit died when she called me a good boy I- her illustration is gorgeous and made me feel so soft, how this fictional woman can make me blush AND be so pretty in this gentle way ?? I cry

ABOUT THE POWER how is mc so fucking stupiiiiid mc has this super op power and they’re all afraid of people trying to hurt them because of it which is fair so-

Makes a magic-y magic? Write that the only people to know about the power are who mc chooses to tell? They could even make tinker forget (I do not trust her, not in a “she’s an evil backstaber” way but in a “she isn’t concerned by sides so her actions will always be unknown” way)

Also I’d make my glasses magic?? Or any trinket mc has tbh, just write it has a protection/good luck spell on it

Idk I’d totally use the shit out of this power

Also the plot holes in rogues book? He didn’t talk about a body did he?? I wanted so much the option to ask if there was a body or body parts, I think mc would be perfectly capable of not changing the past but of making revaluations and stuff

Although I did think his sister being alive all along is just part of the ioe plot already, which was basically confirmed when talking to hook talked about how the islands magic couldn’t get the lost book even when it’s not with the only owner,, alive (so it’s totally with red, now where the fuck she is I have no idea)

I’m excited about them going to more magical places next (not talking about pan, yeah imma ignore him)

There was a line after the star scene where mc is is pouty (idk the word don’t judge me) because they have to take the magic book and go talk business

Unreal, I’d probably have already asked about the books and be stoked about fucking magic, I’m a fucking nerd and would be So Curiou about how the magic works in that world!!

Can anyone use it? Is there such a thing as being born magic or not? Do people just use a specific kind of magic (like the writing thing) or can they learn more? Are magicians a thing? What about about magical creatures? I know tinker is a fairy and mermaid are a thing but what abou things like idk a Pegasus?

Honestly I would want to know all about the world(building)

She did it, Serena from Fictif’s ioe really went “fake relationship to protect this stranger” and I think that’s hot ngl

I can’t help but think that that’s how she got some of her crew?? I mean it’s really easy to imagine she helped people in a bind some way or another and they were grateful and wanted to repay somehow and realized they’re interested in pirating or even the opportunity of being in her crew Is the help

I’m like 95% sure the last one is Billie’s backstory actually, I mean her appearance and description of not looking like she worked like that as long as the other totally makes me think she’s a princess who was in a hard situation and had to run away or something

I’m just putting a lot of expectations in this story, I can’t help myself.

I LOVE fairytales being retold and the characters all sound super interesting, I’m not sure Billie is a LI and it doesn’t seems like there will be routes on this story which are both upsetting if true BUT I’m excited anyway

I was a little sad pretty pirate lady didn’t have a more muscly build tbh but at least she looked less skinny in her illustration, my theory for Billie makes no muscles being more acceptable for me but she could still not be thin

I didn’t particularly love or hate the story? I like the idea a lot but i wasn’t tempted at all to get the stars options for sawyer, he felt really bland for me (idk about pod options)

Elise was a promising character from the moment she appeared and I loved her but I still think she should have more screentime outside of paid options for her character development really shine

I’ve seen some posts already about how she should totally be the main LI and I totally agree, having a bigger focus on her would make the story sO Much more interesting

As this story had only one route I also wished the LIs interacted more with each other, I think for the plot itself it would be great to have scenes where they get to know each other in a friendly way, I mean!! They’re stuck together now!! It could’ve totally have happened after there where only the three of them.

The whole “loving yourself is also finding love” could also be executed a bit better? I dunno

AND ALSO

Miss moon!!!!!! I’m plenty aware she’s more of a way to move the plot but I was just so happy to finally see a fat character in fictif, the fact that she is just a side character is not something I enjoy but at least she exists? So yeah she is definitely one of the positive points in the story

I lost my grandfather this month, he had just done a complicated surgery and all went well but as he was recovering he got covid in the hospital and couldn’t make it

We weren’t as close as we used to be when I was a kid, there was a lot of things I discovered about him this last years that soured our relationship and I thought I wouldn’t suffer as much because of that, it was not true

There’s also my grandma, i was the one with her when she was told and it was not an easy to see

She’s living with me and my mother now, will be for some months and I’ve been keeping her company and trying to help not only in her grieve but also on the chores she was used to share with him

I guess I’m grieving too

I couldn’t write and I know that’s understandable but I kept telling myself I’d do it, that it would help me if I did

And the fact I couldn’t write was getting to me so I hated the idea of coming here and closing requests

Probably it doesn’t makes a lot of sense but it’s what happened

I’ll try to write again soon, I’m in a better place emotionally now and feel like I could but I’ll take it easy this time

There are also other reasons for me being off, cause things have been hard;

My computer charger is kinda messed up which complicates things

My family (the one who lives here of course) are making holiday parties and it’s been physically draining as these things tend to be

My cat (the older from 2, his name is Hannibal) just back from the vet because of a kidney problem and is ok but still in pain so we are keeping an eye on him

With all the things that happened I didn’t read the new updates or the Last legacy rewrite, I wanted to do that before writing
