I hate when people claim the game is dying. Nexon NA is a publisher, if you actually look at what Korea releases you get an idea of what’s to come. This new director is focused largely on renovating, and future updates to look forward to are a Music revamp, auction system, and a permanent carnival called Festia. 

And the GMs have been extremely active. They hold contests at least weekly on the forums, and often take suggestions and input from their playerbase, and that doesn’t even include the ingame meetups they host semi-regularly. People who claim the game’s dying are the problem, not the GMs. It’s those idiots who complain that make others assume it’s dying and not even try to play as a result. 

Maybe actually be a regular player and you’ll see how, if not huge, at least stable the player base really is. Nexon NA made 400mil this year, their games aren’t dying. Go play some other hit-and-quit 2-year max MMO if you’re so impatient.

TBH there’s no denying that the playerbase has diminished over the past 2 years. In Mari, people used to hang out in non-market channels but now there are just 1 or 2 stray players. Well-known players have also quit left and right.

The game and the GMs may be trying their best to retain the current players as well as bring more players into the mix, but you gotta face the facts that the mabi population is definitely not what it used to be.

Also, Nexon NA did not make 400mill this year. Annual Report for 2016 doesn’t even exist. Nexon as a corporation made 400 million in total assets in 2015, their revenue was 150 million. Nexon NA’s revenue for 2015 was 88 million with a segment loss of 31 million.

Although mabi is showing positive earnings in NA, you shouldn’t just paste some number that doesn’t even relate to the point of your post.
