It happens to everyone. We all have writing slumps resulted from our muses not function correctly. They refuse to let the words flow from your fingers about their development, hopes and otp angst for the world to see. You arent alone. BELIEVE. ME. Below is a list of questions to ask yourself about the muse you may have lost along the way. They are designed to force you to go deep within and pull any developmental thoughts you may have forgotten about said muse. I use them constantly for my own stubborn muses and I really hope they work for you. These questions are geared towards roleplaying but can be used for writing any character.

Guide: How to Start Writing Long Responses

I have seen multiple instances of roleplayers wanting to lengthen their responses or those who are moving into a phase where they want to write more but aren't sure how. Not to say that any particular length of response is more appropriate, but longer replies can give roleplayers the opportunity to shape their characters on a more intimate level. 

disclaimer: this guide is directed towards both independent and group roleplayers either starting literate RPs or already immersed in literate RPs. But hopefully the tips provided will help writers of any kind. These guidelines have been largely shaped by personal experience. Length of responses is no indicator of cardinal levels of worth- there is no “better” or “worse” when it comes to writing- it’s all just a matter of taste.

muse [a] is a young runaway who left home at the tender age of eighteen. with nowhere to go but no reason to stay at home, she hoped on a bus and landed in a small town near new york city. muse [a] found a job waitressing at a small diner for minimum wage and used all of her savings to get her to stay out a hotel for a week. muse [b] is the son of the ceo of a huge company a town over who loves coming to the diner once a week. one day, he walks in for dinner to find a new waitress, and he takes an instant liking to her. she is determined to not fall for his good looks and charms, though that proves to be harder than it seems. when she gets kicked out of her hotel and muse [b] offers her a place to stay, what happens when she can’t refuse?  note: there are no set genders or ages, so have fun!

MOVIES OF 2014

I did a list like this last year and people really seemed to like it, so without further ado, here’s this year’s list! This list will be updated every week as new movies come out and links are released for each movie. I’ll update it until the end of 2014 and then once more in the beginning of next year to make sure all of the links are still working. (Hopefully I finish this one, unlike the last…) Let me know if any of the links are broken; I know some of the movies’ qualities are horrible but it’s the best I could find and I hope it’s decent enough to watch.
