Remember That Time In Cintra?
Pairing/s: Jaskier/Nadine, Geralt/Remiel
A/n: Let's not do that again. (edited by @nadineselfships uwu 💕💕)
It was with disbelief and faint horror that Remiel beheld the sight of her raging sibling and their frazzled bard; Nadine picking Jaskier up from the ground from where he had fallen in their attempt to break them all out of the jail the two had landed them in after insulting the local Lord's son.
As she watched her sibling trade vicious insults with the guards, she couldn't help but slap her hand over her eyes as if in an attempt to despell the sight from her mind.
"I'm too sober for this," Remiel mumbles to herself, shaking her head with a pained sigh. Geralt pulled his gaze from the, somewhat amusing, chaos in front of him and glanced down at his wife as she dragged her hand down her face wearily.
"You don't even drink," Geralt snorts at his wife as a small grin tugged at the corner of his lips. Remiel turns to face her husband, looking him dead in the eyes with a bemused expression.
"Maybe I should start," she says dryly before looking back to her sibling, wincing at the yelp Jaskier lets out as Nadine drops him without realizing as they had started to gesture with extreme malice, shouting what they would be doing to the guard if he didn't let them out of the jail cell post haste.
Geralt and Remiel observed the mess in front of them before looking to each other in exasperation.
"Well, at least nothing is on fire like last time," Remiel says with a weak smile on her face, leaning into Geralt's side.
"Don't be so sure, with those two anything's possible," Geralt mutters with more in his voice, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as she looks up at him and chuckles.
"-And that goes double for your mother!" Nadine huffs in outrage, pointing aggressively at the guards who wave dismissive hands at them as they walk out of the room.
"Yeah! What they said!" Jaskier adds in support of his spouse as he tries to mimic their aggressive hand gestures.
Nadine grumbles in annoyance and turns to look at Remiel, their face scrunching up instantly as they looked at the sight of Geralt and Remiel gazing softly at each other.
"Eck, gross get a room," Nadine drawls, scowling and crossing their arms over their chest as they turn back to Jaskier nodding in agreement with their words.
