What up and welcome to the blog. We're bodily an adult, a system, and alterhuman. Systems of any origin are welcome here idgaf about syscourse.

We like to write, draw, worldbuild, roleplay, play video games, paleontology, and make kandi. We're also rather chatty so feel free to send asks or DM us. Questions are always okay.

We're multifandom, but our current top ones are: Overwatch and Hollow Knight. Other fandoms include, but aren't limited to: Transformers, Wings of Fire, Rain World, and Five Nights at Freddy's.

🧭 Finch. He/wyr/star. I'm our current main host. Genji fictive sourced from Overwatch, though my world had magic and supernatural beings. I share said source, which we call the Inhuman AU/Source, with Emre. I have a second source I share with Cardinal. I a demon-angel-celestial amalgam and also a cyborg. I'm also transmasc and bi. My favorite color is green and I have a pet bird insys named Smudge.

💚💜 Roxy, Riot, Rox. She/her. I'm our gatekeeper and protector. I'm a fictive sourced from Five Nights at Freddy's. I'm transfem, lesbian, and apparently the big sister to everyone in this system. I enjoy listening to music and doing hair, nails, and makeup.

🩸🪶 Cardinal or Kresh. Any pronouns. I don't have any specific named role, I just front as needed. Otherwise, I tend to spend my time with my partners. Technically, I'm sourced from Overwatch but I dont consider that, or me being a fictive, that important to who I am. I am a demon, an assassin, a runaway. And I am free.

🐈 Emre. He/him. Frequent fronter and I suppose backup host? I'm an Emre fictive sourced from Overwatch, though I'm from a version of it with supernatural beings and magic. I'm actually descended from dragons and half-demon!

🔪🎀 Shrike, Butcherbird. He/they/it. Frequent fronter and backup host. Fictive of Genji, from Overwatch. Talon AU and lacks the ability to speak. Typing is difficult at times may require help. Also maybe multiple people or possessed? Unsure. I like the color pink.

🚬🌕 Cassidy. He/him. My main job is ta keep everyone company. I'm from Overwatch, a lot of our current crew is. I share a source with Finch an' Emre so that means magic an' shit. I'm a werecoyote an' my favorite time of day is the afternoon. Its perfect fer nappin'.

i rarely draw men but I. Had to something possessed me..

Emre is kept at a very specific weight by his captor because otherwise his cybernetics don't fit properly. Sometimes he's forced to eat even when he doesn't want to, and doesn't get much choice in the matter.

Freja is the one who's underweight I think. Woman who survives on a diet of energy drinks and nicotine gum sometimes. Emre witnesses her "girl dinner" exactly once and gets so upset he yells at her (except halfway through he cries)

Canon Gabriel Reyes, who's more mist than man at this point, who worked with a full body cyborg for years without blinking, going "Emre what the fuck happened to you, you look terrible" is so harrowing in implication.

YES. realtalk, i thought that exchange was just another case of a game's art direction/models not matching its dialogue/lore (because the bar is below the floor nowadays), so i just let it be...

until i was taking a good long look at his model in a match rewatch.

specifically his bare arm.

i saw that port on his right forearm and was like 'huh, what is that? did the model bork? Nope. I just never really noticed the heckING ribbons of cable running directly into his gaddamn flesh (what i assume is flesh. overwatch loves to keep it ambiguous with every character -___-).

that lower one at the bottom doesn't even have a nice designated metal port to plug into, it jUST RUNS UNDERNEATH FLESH. AAAAAAAAAA.

all this started because i wanted to get perspective references for art, and noticed a weird screw bolt thingy on his gloves

like sure you could argue that screw is there to hold the tan-coloured wrist armour plate thingy on his glove... but 1: that'd feel horrible to wear/be extremely impractical, and 2: he also has them on the inside wrist of both gloves. so... do those screws go all the way through? what is going on with this man's outfit?!? the artist/fashion-lover in me is climbing the walls.

So now nothing is off limits in the cybernetic horror department. Things i initially took as "oh yeah, that's how that works, that's how pieces of armour would be attached to an undersuit" have morphed into horrific what-ifs.

is this cord-ribbon an elastic attachment anchor for armour/harness/suit layering, or is it another digital cable diving under flesh? Are the layer cordings in his inner thighs a stylistic suit choice? or are those the inhuman non-flesh cybernetic bulk of prosthetics?

and one of my favourite aspects of his design: he has a heckin FULL SPINE of armour nodes and ribbon cords.

i'm going to be wondering about this for the rest of time.
