yk I should probably do an actual introduction post and not just post car's theories and leave it at that So hi! my name is Ren Im a Writer, aspiring voice actor, and sometimes other kinds of content creator. but mostly im an idiot and enjoy being one. if you like that too feel free to hangout all are welcome unless your an asshole. my png is both my streaming mascot but also the main character of a story ive been writing which im hoping to post more about on here as well! So Day Star my orignal story was originally going to be a purely steam punk world. Like for example to the point that so much steam gets in the air that theres weekly steam rains where everyone has to be inside when they happens.

But as ive written more environmental stuff with nature and technology combining due to natural deterioration. I debated shifted over to solar punk

And I flip flopped for a while between the two ideas. Not really being satisfied with one or the other wether it was esthetically not fitting the world in ways I wanted or logistically with certain technology not fitting. So I got stuck fkr a bit but then I had a cool idea

What if I did both?

The world of Asteria is a world that during the main story is constantly changing in different ways so what if they were in their equivalent of a modern revolution where they are in the transitional phase between steam and solar punk?

Which not only fits the themes about change and growth but also let's me mix the two vibes together and the technology. Ofc theres a kind of phone that runs on solar power but still is made out of copper. Its a new product thats trying to basically molt old technology to become new

And its helped so much because it allows me to use BOTH esthetics where I please. Mix bits and pieces together and create a world that feels like it makes sense with the story and is also entirely my own

Moral of the story? If you cant figure out how to make something make sense one way or another. Cheat and do both. You may make something that works in a new way

Yk relearning tumblr is such an odd experience. I feel older and things have changed. But at the same time I feel at home again. Like ive gone on a long journey to find growth and self discovery but learned that the only growth i needed was to learn to like who I was. And yaoi. Lots of yaoi.

You ever have an Oc gender identity/sexuality awakening? Like it's happened twice now where ill be writing and go "oh shit wait a sec" and suddenly. One of my characters is now Non-binary. And im like good for them! Good for the character I made in my brain for learning more about themselves! Surely its just them and not me right guys?

hmmm.... You ever think about the fact that the models of cars in the car universe heavily imply certain historical events? Like I know im not the only one to come up with this because like sarge is a car that was made in ww2 which implies an INSANE amount of cars related history and events, for example the assassination of John F Carnnedy but ALSO implies certain things about current events. so I ask the question Are Teslas like the tech bro asshole cars?
