Since Renascentia is being restarted after my two year hiatus, I redid some of the old art. The top one is being used as the header on the website, and the bottom is the icon for wherever the comic appears. So on here, dA, the ComicFury database, etc.  I also included the textless version so you can see any of my work that got covered up. Still need to make a new banner for ComicFury, and update the background on the site, but I’m making progress. Main Comic Site

What even was I thinking when I made the original. Well anyway, here’s the redo of page number 2 in a side-by-side comparison.

Not so great at backgrounds, but hey, I’m trying, and it looks better than my original attempt.

Some pretty big compositional and character changes from this point on. Rather than sleeping on the roof and being a bit of a dick, I decided Vie would be better off in his room and a bit more reserved.

If you saw my earlier post, since it’s been like two years since I worked on this at all, I’ve decided to go back and redraw all the art and redo some of the text. So here’s a sneak peak at the new version in a side-by-side comparison with the original page 1.

I think it might be time to revive this project. I stopped working on it when my tablet broke, and then when I got a new one, I just lost my drive. Now though, I’m in a bit of a creative rut, I just can’t get myself to draw. So I’ll be redrawing the first few pages I already did, and then pick up from there with the rest of the story.

So my computer froze up yesterday and I lost my trial of Photoshop. I don't have another program for inserting text, so what started as laziness is now an indefinite hiatus. I'll get back to work as soon as I can find a trustworthy replacement program.

I think I've drawn this character for this blog before. I spent three hours the other night figuring out his design. I had planned to color these, but I'm feeling very lazy and unproductive, so I'll just upload the pencil drawings and I'll make a new post if I ever finish coloring him. He still has no name, but I have a full backstory prepared for him now.

I suck at backgrounds and they weren't really necessary for this page, so I just used a bunch of gradients instead. Hopefully it still looks okay. At least I got this page done on time.
