Been working on this reference sheet for way longer than I’m willing to admit, and I’ve gotten to the point where it gets the idea across. I might fix any color corrections later, but for now, have this.

MARCO THE YELLOW CAT

Fun fact!!! Narinder calls him “sunshine cat” (but in a derogatory way)

According to Procreate, this thing took me over 10 hours for some reason- I did experiment with my art a lot here, and I was excessive and literally traced the original yellow cat from the animation so it’d be higher quality instead of just using the screenshot and cropping it. I’ve also been experimenting with different brushes and textures and stuff. I feel the need to admit that I DID partially trace the sprites from the game for the canon-esque chibi versions. Don’t ask why the little Marco that’s the closest to being game accurate has trousers and a hood but the Marco holding Leshy’s hand DOESN’T have trousers and a hood. I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

*HE AND LESHY KISS?????

*When he talks about his late mother, his eyes both fill with fond love for her and fear (Motherly wrath ❤️)

*Marco can play the acoustic guitar and often likes to play it and sing for the flock (It drives Leshy insane but in a good way)

*He has a pretty thick southern accent (This also drives Leshy insane but in a good way)

*Sometimes he braids Leshy's fur!!!

*Whenever he cooks, his food is DROWNED in home cooked love and you WILL have an Anton Ego moment.

*Leshy didn’t immediately recognise him (Marco) when he (Leshy) arrived in the Lamb’s cult (Oop. Lore?)

REF SHEET TIME MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR (it’s almost July.. that’s why… almost July….)

I’m so excited to start writing about this guy, he’s so neat. The whole thing with the Dalshams and Serens is that there’s three different groups of Elves, ones that live in the desert (Dalshams), ones that live in central city (Serens) and ones that are dirt poor farmers (Lloers). The Dalshams and Serens are both decently wealthy (most of the time) and so they don’t like each other because of politics. And their respective governments both want More money for different reasons. And This Fella gets stuck in a lot of the violence between them for remarkably supernatural reasons. And by that I mean a vengeful spirit of war is attached to him. Anyways. I really really want warak enab now
