CAVE IDUS MARTIAS
Fallout New Vegas Factions: 4 of ? Finally, my Legion will have its Rome.
making ppl u hate mad is almost erotic
i’ll kick your throat in and trap your viper tongue in the cage of your trachea
Nipton was a wicked place, debased and corrupt…
evil characters in states of submission/weakness
evil characters momentary feeling things about the people they love
evil characters scared or hurt
evil characters making a friend or falling in love
evil characters being put in positions where they are delicate and sensitive for a short period
but their core personality isn’t changed
and they are still evil
*soft gasp*
vulpxes:
Oh capitalize on the moment he would; Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. What an extra blessing from Mars this had been, the man thought, but he wouldn’t benefit from aiming directly at the core just yet, for like his dying Lord his own words too had to be chosen carefully before making his move on the chessboard.
Caesar’s sudden jerking pull him back to the initial reason why he stood there, and in a matter of seconds any boiling hater within him seems to evaporate, even if just for a moment. Caesar’s words were ardent fuel kindling dormant embers.
Strong arms are swift to support him, silence falling around both with the weight of a hammer fall. The fox only studied the dying tyrant with calm eyes while guilt twists and writhes in his guts. He’s the one whose stirred this. It’s still not enough to fan out the maelstrom that name has brought between them, peace has long shattered to pieces. Besides, this was now a matter of importance for the future — their future. He would be a fool to let it slip. Nonetheless as the fit of pain appears to subside Vulpes allows himself to gently settle his master back down on the bed, pulling his arm from underneath him.
❝ Try not to overwork yourself, my lord. ❞ How he wished to beat himself over how hypocritical that sounded.
Having spotted the small table that had been brought into the place in wait for the courier and which currently only contained near useless medicinal items, the fox moved toward it. Taking an empty bowl to pour some of the water on it and a clean rag. Placing it on it to soak up some of the cool liquid he wrung out the excess, using the same to wipe the beads of sweat that had accumulated on Caesar’s forehead.
❝ Hoover dam…yes. There shall be much to remember, as much glory to be had in it. I do not question Lanius’ ability in the battlefield. ❞ His face is placid even when admitting the next. ❝ His ways are the ways of honorable warriors unlike my surreptitious ones. ❞
❝ Unfortunately, this is were all his abilities end. An empire, might I remind you, does not run simply on butchering. There are laws. Further alliances to be made and kept under maintenance. The Legate has displayed an aversion towards negotiations outside of bloodshed; nor was he blessed with a silver tongue for them were he ever inclined to implement such a tactic. All our alliances, even the truces the Legion has gathered thus far would simply cease to be when he throws a tantrum. Lanius only thinks with a hot head, not a cold, calculative one. He is guided by emotions rather than rationality. ❞
A paused. One heartbeat. Two. And suddenly he arches a brow in questioning, ensuring the closing to his move is nothing but a ballistic statement meant to shatter further defenses. ❝ But this weakness of his you very much knew yourself, did you not ? You doubt him too. ❞
Placing the moist cloth back on the bowl he reaches next for the small brahmin-leather bag on his belt, taking out a bottle of bitter drink. This time he dares further closeness, settling himself down on the edge of the bed to better lever the other man up, using one arm to support him, the other holding up the medicine to his lips; hoping, not for a cure, such would be foolish, but for it to dulls some of the pain.
Sly eyes watch him intently for any further sign of pain or another episode. The dead silence already heralds the answer he wishes to swallow out of that deep respect for him, but Caesar only seems to insist on it.
W h o ?
Vulpes expression is emotionless.
❝ Myself. ❞
The pressure on him is immeasurable, from the painful points of his shoulder blades against the unwavering support of Vulpes’ arms to the arguments the man was driving home with every. single. sentence. Caesar is not good at arguing, not now of all times. He loved it, relished winning, but he possessed neither Vulpes’s silver tongue nor the energy to support rebuttals in any form or fashion. He’s left to shake like a newborn lamb and just listen. He’s revolted with himself, at his weakness, for forcing him into a near infantile state.
Vulpes began with placation, admission, exactly what he knew would wear down what little remained of the leader’s screwed footing on the matter of Lanius. Caesar finds himself thinking about it only to spare himself the indignity of his current position. The Legate is strong, volatile, and Caesar’s perfect choice. A strong arm to lead the taking of the Dam and, so he believes, the man to take his place. ... but that isn’t true, not entirely, and the man scowls again, eyes screwing shut to ward off the aura of another impending fit. It’s working, for now, though he must continue with his eyes closed.
He hadn’t foreseen this. Certainly, there were symptoms, some ignored, some loudly complained about, but this rapidly encroaching death has sprung upon him before he truly could take stock of what he needed to do.
You doubt him too.
Doubt indeed. Lanius was chosen for his ferocity-- but that didn’t stop the strange twist of unease in Caesar’s stomach at the sight of yet another blinded slave, yet another group of legionaries decimated for the slightest infraction. For all his lack of subtlety, Caesar had always had a measure of reason with mistakes. The man that now ministered over his deathbed would no longer be alive if he had chosen to take disobedience at face value. Would Lanius do the same?
His mind swam with the concept. No. No no no. He’s angry, unable to accept his own terrible choices. The cool cloth on his forehead seems to sponge away some of the head of his distaste, but the act of being moved again shoots through his skull like a driven nail with further pain, pulling his head back into a soundless contortion of open-mouthed agony. Something cool is against his lips again and at first Caesar thinks it’s more water.
Eugh. The extreme bitterness hits his nose a second after it floods over his tongue. He sputters, coughs, and all thought is lost in the brief moments of wanting nothing more than to evacuate the disgusting medicinal blend from his mouth. His eyes fly open despite himself, but the look shifts to pleading within seconds. “No.” No, nothing of this. Caesar knows he’s to die and won’t have it dragged out any longer than the process is destined to. (In fact, he hopes, the pain will take him and he’ll be free of debating politics until his death)
But that’s not to be, is it? Vulpes gave him his answer, and with what strength he had, he hardened. Vulpes. Of course, of course, it had to be this. Insanity, to place the Frumentarius on his throne... but was it? Caesar opened his mouth to speak an immediate refusal, but he’s stayed-- by what force, he does not know. Vulpes has hot blood, prone to wandering. The news of the lottery at Nipton didn’t miss Caesar’s ears. But Lanius would have left the entire town a burning chasm, glorious, and altogether mindless. The beauty of brutality was lost on the Legate, only the cruelty of it remaining.
Perhaps... perhaps Vulpes could lead. Perhaps the rule of one of Caesar’s greatest successes could be what the legion needed. He curses the pain that keeps his mind from moving fluidly, from reasonable consideration. When he speaks it’s still a challenge, unto death with his stubborn refusal to admit defeat, even when he’s on the brink of it already, doubt well sowed in his minds’ eye picture of the brutal Legate.
“What makes you... what makes you qualified to stand where he’s earned?” For once, however, Caesar is willing to listen.
❝ Sometimes you have to get captured just to get a straight answer out of something. ❞ ❝ What have you brought today? Tell me. ❞ ❝ We’re the same, you and I. Just a couple of hot-headed fools. ❞ ❝ Whoever you are, you will be stopped. ❞ ❝ I went on a journey of self-discovery. Then I met you. ❞ ❝ I tried to start a revolution, but didn’t print enough pamphlets so hardly anyone turned up. ❞ ❝ Do you reckon you’d be interested? ❞ ❝ Destiny has dire plans for you, my friend. ❞ ❝ I have dire plans for destiny. ❞ ❝ Last time we saw you, you were trying to kill everyone. What are you up to these days? ❞ ❝ I have to get off this planet! ❞ ❝ Hey, big guy. Sun’s getting real low. I don’t want to hurt you anymore. ❞ ❝ Perhaps we can come to an arrangement… ❞ ❝ Kneel, before your ( queen/king ). ❞ ❝ Darling, you have no idea what’s possible. ❞ ❝ I’ve got more muscle, so technically more brains! ❞ ❝ My destiny is to rule all others. ❞ ❝ I thought the world of you. I thought we were going to fight side-by-side forever. ❞ ❝ Let’s be honest, our paths diverged a long time ago. ❞ ❝ It’s probably for the best that we’ll never see each other again. ❞ ❝ We’re gonna get outta here. Wanna come? ❞ ❝ A creepy old man cut my hair off! ❞ ❝ Even with two eyes, you only see half of the picture. ❞ ❝ Where are the weapons? ❞ ❝ Better not touch anything. ❞ ❝ Your savior has arrived! ❞ ❝ Every great king had an executioner. ❞ ❝ The revolution has begun! ❞ ❝ I think you can handle things from here. ❞ ❝ So, he’s dead. I’d have liked to have seen that. ❞ ❝ How do I escape? ❞ ❝ I trust you, you betray me and round and round in circles we go. ❞ ❝ That’s smaller than I expected. ❞ ❝ But like a lot of things in life, it should all work out all right. ❞ ❝ I still hate it. It’s humiliating. ❞ ❝ Come on. You love it. ❞ ❝ Don’t you move. My hands aren’t as steady as they used to be. ❞ ❝ Piss off, ghost! ❞ ❝ With the Eternal Flame, you are reborn! ❞ ❝ I was just talking to him just a couple minutes ago and he was totally ready to kill any of us. ❞ ❝ Slaves is such a harsh word, I prefer “prisoners with benefits.” ❞ ❝ I spare you. I spare you from life. ❞ ❝ It’s come to my attention that you don’t know who I am. ❞ ❝ Look at that. Remember this place… home. ❞ ❝ I’m not as strong as you. ❞ ❝ I can’t believe you’re alive! I saw you die. I mourned you. I cried for you. ❞ ❝ Everything was fine without you. ❞ ❝ Just for once in your life, don’t smash! ❞ ❝ I like women. Sometimes a little too much. ❞ ❝ I’ve spent years, in a haze, trying to forget. ❞ ❝ I don’t know your game, but you can not stop me! ❞ ❝ I understand why you’re angry. ❞ ❝ Go back to whatever chamber you crept out of, you evil demoness! ❞ ❝ I’m upset! I’m very upset. You know what I like about being upset? Blame. ❞
vulpxes:
❝ I know. ❞ he begins, but whatever comforting words about immortality being based on memories and deeds that would follow became trapped in his throat the instant that wretched name was uttered. The fox seems to freeze, and slowly the hand that had so gently been laying on the dying tyrant’s forehead slid away. He takes a step back, but eventually stops himself raising his chin up instead in undeniable pride as he sucks in air through his teeth.
Just the thought alone of having the entire fate of the Legion — his own fate — on that heinous bastard’s hands disgusted him in the most unhealthy way. And he doesn’t hide. As if it were a confession of his own to his Lord, what had always laid encased within his breast and only suggestively spoken about in secrecy to those rare few became unveiled at last in the way his features, once soft, harden further than the normal icy complexion that characterized him. The ire that flashes across the blue of the spy’s eyes bespeaks all. Then however, as he reaches for the water canteen at his side and turns back to Caesar it isn’t just the nasty look of pure repulsion that he often gave to Lanius whenever their gazes collided, it’s the icy cold of another underlying dark sentiment. That of vile disappointment. Venomous envy. A grudge towards the most unlikely of persons: Him —— Caesar.
Such wrong choices. Unalculated. A deep fallacy. It should have been me.
❝ Lanius… ❞ he says, his glare now just disguised as a squint as he forces to push that name through his teeth, the bitterness inescapable no matter how hard he tries to mask it; but eventually doesn’t care to obscure it in any way as a final protest, a rebellious outcry stating how wrong Caesar was in his choice. ❝ is incapable of leading. His righteous place is in the battlefield as General. Placing the heavy responsibility of Emperor upon a fool’s shoulder will lead to nothing but failure. ❞ Severe. Cutting and pulverizing in the solemn quiet.
Unscrewing the cap of the canteen Vulpes hand made its way back to him, slipping and cupping it underneath his neck to help him up enough to take a drink of the offered water.
❝ As for the child across the river, ❞ changing the topic to avoid what should have been up until then a pleasant ( or as pleasant as this moments could be ) final farewell. ❝ if that is your final wish, I shall have it returned by all means. I will be the one to personally oversee both his upbringing and training. ❞
It isn’t what he wants. There is still that lingering darkness even in the most of loyal men, thankfully for him it is that loyalty that keeps him leashed to reluctantly accept that final decision without further additions to his earlier confession. Nonetheless, even as he speaks with those soft words, the frumentarius holds his own ulterior motives, because it will be him in the end who might lead behind the shadows, tugging at strings like a puppeteer if all goes well. It is he who at least still holds actual love for all Caesar created. It would all be for the ultimate good….
It isn’t just his illness that makes the air in the tent suddenly heavy, like a lead-weighted blanket as soon as Caesar utters his second-in-command’s name. He’s no fool. Stirring whispers of dissent had always been around since he’d appointed the brutal warloard as his legate. Many thought Caesar didn’t hear, but oh, he did. Usually among the recruits who rightfully feared the man who blinded with no provocation, foolishly loud enough in whisper to reach Caesar’s ears. He paid them no mind. Edward Sallow had always been a stubborn man, and the son of mars doubly so. The idle musings of the bottom rungs of legion forces were nothing he lost sleep over. ... but Vulpes. A remarkable man, a remarkable spy... to hear him speak dissent was was enough to curl his mouth into a deep frown. This simple movement was rewarded with a split of white-hot pain through his head, burning hard and bright enough to make him shut his eyes and visibly wince. Son of a bitch!
By the time it faded, Vulpes was back at his side, and Caesar had to swallow his dignity as he did the water that was put to his lips. hands on his neck would normally be cause for a death sentence-- he didn’t fight it. It was degrading to be coddled, cared for-- but it would not do to die thirsty. It served enough to cool his throat, making his words sound less like they came from a bed of Mojave gravel.
“Who would you have in his stead?” every word needed to be carefully chosen, rationing the scraps of energy Caesar had left within him. He was angry, though he had no right to be. In these final hours he’d asked for honesty and he’d received it. There was no mistaking Vulpes’ opinion. Even in the throes of another bout of pain he could see the twisting of his expression, the tension in his jaw. Even the name came out like the edge of a razor. Caesar was willing, for once in his life, to entertain the possibility that he was wrong, and he was certain Vulpes would capitalized upon the chance.
“Lanius will take the Dam. I don’t... don’t need...” his expression blanked, and for several moments it looked as if it wouldn’t change. Suddenly he moved again, and continued as though he hadn’t paused at all. “... anything impeding his victory.” The NCR would remember the carved mask cutting down their forces for decades after. The thought brings him a swell of ego, enough to challenge Vulpes’ suggestion. “Who else could replace my throne?”
Suddenly, he jerked, knocking his head further into Vulpes’ arms with no intention of doing so. “Fucking shit.” the pain was back, blinding his vision to the point where the dimming of the lights from before barely mattered, because he could see nearly nothing now. He wanted to pull his own brain out through his ears, if only to make the agony stop for a moment. Eventually, the short fit ceased, and he was left to only breathe heavily, stare blindly into the muddy field of view he had left, where he looked at what he believed was the frumentarius by his side. His voice was back to a rasp, despite the water. “Who, Vulpes?”

@renderedunto / cont. from
“Tell me what you need to, now.”
Seven simple words that took tremendous energy to utter. Seven words that shook his entire world.
The ground below him trembled again. This time however he knew it wasn’t the ground, nor did he sink but held himself upright, hands behind his back, as was his nature, like the many times he had stood by Caesar’s side. His face is clad in iron. Nonetheless it is clear that his facade is nothing but a played farce, the sadness that has been pooling on his throat leaks elsewhere. His eyes.
When he had requested entrance from Lucius he had not expected this. Mars must have been far too generous to him to grant him the wish of a proper farewell, and yet…and yet he now stood there muted, frozen in place by fear. Time was slipping like sand between his fingers, but try as he could there was no force on earth that could make him speak, much less say all he had wished to say seconds ago. Suddenly he felt as if he were six again, when he was staring at the dying eyes of — no.
Vulpes forced himself to swallow in an attempt to undo the knot that had tied itself around his throat. Unfolding his hand he reaches for Caesar’s only to push it back down on the bed. He doesn’t remove it, letting it rest there as if to comfort.
There is a light twitch of his lips as if in protest, which isn’t protest but effort, for once, to showcase a white lie as he smiles down at him. A rare event. That’s not normal. He’s hanging by a thin thread no doubt, taking the full weight like a strong pillar while his entire world seemed to come crashing down on his shoulders. A light tremble of his hand becomes disguised with a gentle squeeze. ❝ Nonsense. You’ll have plenty of time. Gods are immortal. ❞ Both knew it was a lie. Maybe the others might have believed that, Vulpes however had never bought into that. Wrapping his fingers around his master’s hand the fox further discarded his shame for the human contact he often shunned. Sentiments weren’t a thing he lived by. He has clipped those of his heart and mind, or so he said. It was true, he was a monster by his deeds, but more than heartless he was a level-headed man whose brain dictated his every move, not his heart. He carried each mission with coldness until it became the norm. Nonetheless, Vulpes Inculta was still human, and now the man he had come to look up to — to whom his life had been pledged to entirely, a man not just his master nor leader but his savior and without a doubt, if he even dared, sole father figure he had had since the day he had been swallowed by the Legion — laid in his dead bed. He swallowed again, unable to rid himself of that oppression around his neck and breast, and tentatively inched closer, no longer holding the respectable distance he always made sure to keep between him and the Legion’s founder. Settling the warm palm of his other hand on Caesar’s forehead he continues ❝ Don’t move, you need the rest. The courier shall return soon. ❞
If life were an easy to trade commodity he would offer his and take Caesar’s place in that deathbed without question. A simple life in exchange o the salvation of not just a far precious one, but of the entire Legion itself. Of an empire. The mere thought of Lanius sitting on that throne….his stomach tightened in repulsion. He’d never feared the future. Now he did. But out of all things, in that moment he feared the incoming dawn that would steal with it all he ever knew and cared for.
Gods are immortal. How hollow, how empty his stature seemed, as hollow as the weak, motionless limbs that now served only to be uncomfortable stilts by the side of his fading body. All the status in the world would bow eventually to death. This wasn’t how it was supposed to end. Even as a young man working under a different flag, name, creed... death didn’t happen to Edward Sallow... and it didn’t happen to Caesar, Son of Mars. Feh.
Illusions couldn’t fight the cold reality of death. He who had built his life up as immortal would die a feeble man. The reality had to be addressed, though Caesar could hear in the fox’s tone that there was denial. Anxiety twisted in his chest as he felt the time slipping by-- soon there’d be no chance for formalities, orders, last rights. Urgency would remain trapped in his throat-- no energy was left for insisting, snapping.
The pain that lay pinched behind the spy’s mask of a face seemed to channel into his actions. A hand on Caesar’s, pushing his down back to the mattress so easily, so feeble. Another on his forehead, and suddenly the shadow was darker, Vulpes having moved closer than Caesar had let another human being since the man he’d sent to a firey fall in the canyons of Colorado. “I’m no God.” The admission is heavy, simultaneously a weight off his chest and a knife in his mouth. Vulpes was not given to superstition, could not have believed the pompous pedestal Caesar had roosted upon for years-- but even speaking this way to him felt like a sin. “I’m... a man. A man who is dying.” Eyes dragged up to meet the frumentarii leader in the face, imploring him with his face what words could not say.
Mars, don’t let this slip away. Caesar could feel his life sliding away. The hand on his forehead would feel nothing but clammy, cold sweat, the gentle movements of Caesar’s furrowing brow. “The Legion will not fall,” he all but whispered. “Lanius will lead until... until the time has come for my heir to take his place.” Unspoken was the request that Lanius not claim the throne forever. He was a fierce warlord, but a Legion could not be lead by brutality alone. An infant son would have to grow, be trained, to take his place once Caesar passed on.
As the lights in the tent grew dimmer only to his own eyes, Caesar exhaled heavily, a near death-rattle in how it shook his chest. “I will not see tomorrow’s break. This is the last time we will speak.”
M a r s f o r g i v e m e
I can tell you I love you tomorrow. You’re not dying today.
His health had turned. Finally, the intruder that had settled in the deep reaches of his skull claimed its dues. Caesar had seen it coming. There were small signs, at first. The weakness, the pain. Small stumblings of memory, agitation where none was provoked. Once the seizures had started he knew he was at his end. Now, he looked as if death had taken him already. The world’s colour and sounds were muted beyond comprehension most times, only to crash back at unpredictable intervals. The tyrants’s death wasn’t to be glorious; It was to go out with a whine, a whimper, a gasp.
Everything was dulled, tension holding a wet blanket on the fort and tents while everyone waited for the end. Even the war drums that beat in the camps surrounding had softened. Legion troops tread carefully with the fear of the death of their leader, their father, their God staked in their hearts. But Caesar couldn’t hear them. He lay in his bed in an empty room and waited to die. The flap of the doorway being pulled back didn’t rouse him. It was only the weighted shadow next to his bed that made it through his closed eyelids.
Vulpes. Even with one foot in the grave he could recognize that voice, honeyed for everything with promises that could charm tears from a feral ghoul. There was none of that now. Tremendous effort forces Caesar’s eyes to open, but the half-lidded stare is past the frumentarii’s left shoulder. Behind the dull blue irises, Caesar listened, registered that the fox had removed his adornments, looked at him not behind his mask. Concern. There was concern. A feeling twisted Caesar’s gut, a twitch to his lips displaying the most movement he’d shown all day to the sight of Vulpes showing his true emotions. Most thought the man heartless– Caesar knew otherwise.
He’d watched as the boy with such a humble origin came to serve a greater purpose. Caesar’s purpose. Now his great leader was fading into the Mojave dust he’d spent his whole life conquering. Peh. Vulpes was more a son to him than any born of any slave he’d added to his list of conquests. Words like that were never spoken aloud. Legionaries did not have families. Except when they did. Even Vulpes, it seemed, wasn’t immune. Caesar had not even managed to stir for Lucius. Lucius. Such loyalty, such earnest. How would they all manage? Would his death shatter the illusion his supposed immortality had built? The NCR would not let this go to waste. Yet… Perhaps death had shifted his priorities, for he found himself not worrying for the tactical advantages, but for the consequences of pain or death for the men standing at his door… And the one at his side.
Where he found his strength was unknown. Perhaps it really was Mars that let him pull his hand from where it laid at his said and force it to raise, palm out, as if to halt Vulpes in his speech. He made a sound, too quiet to be a word, too loud to be an accident or a death throe. Then, in a voice that sounded like every word was a marathon, he spoke.
"I’m not a fool.“
He would be dead by morning. He could feel that truth ringing in his head, emanating from the tumor that was taking his energy and his life. The courier was not returned. No word of the shock of blue hair back in the camp. A last hope. Caesar had no tears to shed for hiss regrets, only for what he never did. He inhaled, another herculean effort overriding everything else.
"Tell me what you need to, now.”
KLAUS MIKAELSON STARTER SENTENCES
Those who live hate me more then ever.
It was a little melodramatic for my tastes
What an entirely unwelcome surprise.
I will not be manipulated.
Are you here to give me another pep talk on the joys of fatherhood?
The level of awkwardness we’re all currently experiencing is entirely genuine.
Well, don’t be fooled love. I’m the devil in disguise.
What is it about my brother that always inspires such instant admiration?
Wasn’t it you who once said I could talk my way out of Hell?
I can tell you I love you tomorrow. You’re not dying today.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how much am I going to hate this little plan of yours?
Tend to _____. I have to murder my ex.
I’m begging you. Don’t leave me.
Death dances silently in everyone’s shadow, and she doesn’t give a damn. So why give a damn about her?
It’s better a flawed life lived than wasted rotting away in clay.
Because you wished it. Because what’s important to you is important to me. What makes you happy makes me want to keep you so. What scares you, I want to tear apart.
Violence is unavoidable then. Well, I tried.
I’m sure you’re quite capable of protecting yourself from the scourge of fraternity row.
Mere hours after you lecture me about boundaries and here you are at my house in the middle of the night.
If I tell you who I really am and you refuse to believe me then I can hardly be blamed for your disappointment.
I quite enjoy my obsessions, thank you very much.
Well, it hasn’t been a picnic, honestly.
You know, you all seem to think this is a democracy, and I assure you it is not!
This family makes me want to murder people.
You mistake my intentions. I haven’t come here to fight you. Not at all. This is to be an execution. Tell me, how exactly would you like to die?
You do realize it is not I who is to be the husband you can boss around.
I’m sorry, is this some sort of motherly critique? Please feel free to choke on it.
You know, it’s funny how often a person’s sharp tongue can end up cutting their own throat.
I’m missing a crucial color in my palette, that of my enemies’ blood.
Well she has a hint of the devil in her eyes. That’s all me.
If you fail to uphold your end of the deal, the consequences for you will be apocalyptic.
Seems rather uncivilized to laugh and dance around the body of a loved one.
Oh, I beg to differ. Some women actually find me quite charming.
Nonsense, I love people.
The stench of your judgment is overwhelming.
He’s your first love. I intend to be your last. However long it takes.
Let me get you a drink. And I’ll tell you all about being the bad guy.
_____, you’re beautiful. But if you don’t stop talking, I will kill you.
Truth be told, I’m as evil as it gets.
