okay but i get the vibes that it would be like the dinner scene from the incredibles where bob is impressed by his son's abilities and helen is like "we are NOT incouraging this!!"

hugh is lowkey impressed by the tattoos and how adrian gets his powers and starts wondering what that could mean for other prodigies/even normal people like how cool is that???? proud parent moment but also still angry that he's the sentinel but also that's so cool!!! hugh is angry but he also cant hide his pride for his son.
