Cesar Pereira died today

He was a bag boy from a Chinese market in Lecheria - Venezuela. A few streets from my house.

He protested against the dictatorship and was killed with guns and marbles...

People are praying on the streets for him right now, a couple of military men were taking pictures of the mourners, like killing a boy was not enough they need to persecute whoever mourns for him.

People are enraged, they catch the military men taking pictures, they stripped them naked, the local police were quickly enough to save them, they were lucky. A military man was killed by the enraged people yesterday in another funeral on a different city; they will think twice before going to mock on these kids’ funerals again; cause they will keep going killing kids on the streets...

The government put marksmen on the roofs today... are they afraid of a few enraged elderly people praying in silence? I hope they are, I hope they hide their badges when out of service, if not for embarrassment then for fear...

Venezuela under siege

I haven’t post anything in a long while but I need to say something today.

More than a year with very little food and no medicines in the country people decided to take the streets all around the territory (Caracas, Miranda, Anzoategui, Tachira, Trujillo, Lara, Bolivar... almost everywhere) since April 19th with no stop to this very day; people are tired of repression by the military forces that protect the “socio-comunist” lie; this is civil war, the government against the people; not a single or few parties against government but the real people, the masses that are hungry and angry that answer to no politic; they’ve burnt the birth house of Hugo Chavez, they’ve destroyed statues and symbols, they feel betrayed and abandoned to a dictator that took his place to end the last bit of freedom we had; Nicolas Maduro is looking to go over constitution to establish the dictatorship to a whole new level and no longer measure anything trough votes again; people are uprising, 18 years of hatred are coming out, they are lynching government's minions, policemen, military... they tried for so long to be peaceful but the regime did what it was looking for so long, break down people’s minds and souls, they’re tired of being abused, they are responding to hunger and desperation, the hatred of having their children brutally tortured and murdered by the repression are making people mad; this is the darkest time for Venezuela in my lifetime. Please, pray for us.
