funny thing is i have yet to play jedi survivor, but i accidentaly spoiled myself this a couple months ago and it kept spinning in my head. actually kinda sad i didnt get to experience this game without getting spoiled but oh well shit happens

thinking about finally reading the jedi apprentice series

I want Devon to be happy and unburdened by revenge as much as the next person but by god is her fall the most appealing one for me in star wars. These words that were spoken by Maul are probably what did it for me the most:

"you were promised a future that was taken from you too early, training vigorously to achieve something that few could, only to be denied. you crave that unfulfilled destiny" "your future was robbed from you and yet you sit idle". because of the war going on, jedi trained like warriors, just like Ahsoka said "but all I ever was, was a soldier" and the reason why Maul's reasoning works with Devon but doesnt with Ahsoka or Ezra is because Ahsoka got to choose her own path, even though it was because of the choices of the council, but she got to grow as her own person, Ezra however was already surrounded by people who wanted to openly fight the empire, but he was also never trained to be a soldier, he didn't have the itch to use those skills because he was yet to achieve them. And he wasn't sitting idle, waiting for the empire to fall, he had Kanan, Hera, Zeb, Sabine, people with whom he thought in the rebellion. Daki wanted what was best for Devon, wanted to protect her, but she wanted to use the skills that her family taught her, it was ultimately one of the legacies of the order and she clung onto that.

my problem at the moment is the fact that i genuinely cannot draw maul, i did it a few times in the past but now he only looks wonky because those face markings are so difficult to get right. AND I NEED TO DRAW HIM, like this show captivated me so much I have such strong feelings thT I need to put out on paper, lord give me strenght
