Awhile back me and my cousin where having a deep conversation about life and the topic came up of growing within. And she said something that really stuck with me and I thought I should share it for anyone who needs to hear it.

See you have these favorites shoes and there your favorite, not really any reason other than you like them. But you see as you grow these shoes don’t fit you like they use to. You’ve out grown them but you keep trying to make them fit because you love these shoes. And then someone comes along and say hey those shoes don’t fit you have these instead and they give you their shoes. And you start to be in the their shoes, trying your best to understand the path they’ve walked with them. But these shoes don’t fit you because they weren’t meant for you. So you end up getting blister but you keep wearing them because someone gave these shoes to you and now you feel like it’s you duty to love these as your old ones. It goes on until someone comes along and gives you ointment for your blisters, they heal them up. And then they offer their shoes to you and you take them. Thus the cycle repeats. It’s okay to sometimes wear other shoes but remember that wear them long enough and they’ll leave blister because those shoes are not you’re shoes. You need to understand nobody shoes will fit your feet but your own, and sometimes your own shoes you’ll outgrow but that fine because you’ll find shoes that fit you just right, it may take some time and some hard looking but you’ll find them...
