Fellow lov stans, how are you guys feeling about the ending?

It can often be difficult to have a story you've followed and supported (with your time, energy, money etc) for years come to an end as it is, but I'm sure many of you are also not happy with how things ended (to put it lightly), which makes it even more frustrating to have supported something only to be let down all the way to the end.

So, feel free to use this post or my inbox to vent out your feelings in regards to the lov/todofam! If I get any asks or responses that I'll reblog, I will tag them with #bnhavent so people can also block these posts to avoid the negativity, but for everyone else I would like to give you a space to vent if needed because what was that story?

I wanted to tell you that you didn't write the translation from japanese in chapter 292 about what Dabi is saying about Natsuo's being killed by Ending.

Hello! Your translations of the chapters related to Todoroki fam are very well written and explained and that made me see more details that I didn't notice or were not put in the English translation and I really thank you! Your analyses really made me understand even better the situation of Todoroki family.

I was wondering if you would continue to translate, but this time other chapters like the ones from MVA? I would love to see new details that the eng translation missed and I don't know abt them! Obviously, this is your choice if you want or not, I was just asking ✌🏻. You said in a post that you're still working on a big post about all the ways the Todofam has referred to one another, so I wait for it if you didn't abandon it!

Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad the translations have helped you :)

I did start with a slightly longer post about how the Todofam refer to each other a couple months ago that I meant to complete in September, but due to plenty IRL stuff haven't been able to work on it since I started it.

I am hoping *fingers crossed* that I will have more time again towards the end of the year or January, though unfortunately, cannot make any promises as of right now.

Once I have more time I would be open to look at other requests too, so if you have any specific scenes/panels/questions, feel free to send me an ask about it.

Aside from the time factor, bnha has not been bringing me joy as they say (however touya shall forever live rent free in my head and the countless merch i have bought over the past year stares at me every day too), in other words, I suppose it just really depends on whether the scene/question/whatever interests me enough to work on it.

Either way, whatever question you got, you can always sent it to me. I haven't been super active on tumblr in recent times (yes, I am on here to procrastinate you caught me) but I do check it once in a while and if there is anything I can quickly answer like this one, I will!

Yes, when the original post is deleted from the server (not just the blog, but the Tumblr servers), there is no root post for notes to be added onto, and also no root post for time to be counted from, so it starts from zero. Most computer operating systems use Unix, which was launched in 1971 with t.he epoch date of midnight on January 1, 1970 as 1. Therefore zero is one second behind that date: December 31, 1969. Also, very unfortunately, this also means nobody except you and anyone you reblog it to will see this explanation, as you cannot open the notes to see comments when there are no notes.

Does your name come from Touya and Keigo? If you did, that's honestly shocking because you don't seem to like Hawks or was this before Hawks character was ruined? I remember there's multiple theories about Dabihawks for years, such as the HPSC training thing.

Hi anon, don't worry the question doesn't offend me, that last part actually made me laugh. I guess I did a good job at rebranding despite the name.

Yes, this blog originally focused on them - I wrote fanfics and everything, believe it or not lmao. I joined the fandom at the beginning of 2019, and when Hwks was introduced and the dbwhks crackship shenanigans began we all had a great time (I believe this video is what got me into the ship lol).

It was a mixture of what happened to Twice, the fandom's negativity in general and also the absolute hatred you get for criticizing Hwks on this website that led me to step away from that.

And then the long awaited Touya reveal happened and I started my translation posts and the blog has been focusing on that ever since!

I still think he's an interesting character, but a huge portion of the fandom (hero and villain stans alike) can't mind their own business so I just focus on the Todofam now.<3

So Shoto origin chapter won, I'm sad it's not the Dabi dance, but it's also understandable that Shoto origin won because that chapter made me love the MHA. I think its also what made many people start MHA anime? I remember Shoto vs Deku has numerous views on You Tube. It also started the Todoroki family subplot. It would've been cool though if Dabi dance is at least on top 3, or to have all Todorokis centric (except Endeavour-centric) to be all there in top 3.

It's a great chapter so a deserved win! I agree, I feel like the Todofam mess just always stood out a lot from the rest of the story (until we got the backstory of the lov members too) and definitely drew a lot of us in because of that.

Dabi's Dance will forever have its place as one of the most memorable ones based on the cultural impact and the way it broke the internet, so it's a winner anyway
