He already does. I really don't doubt that. It's the grandfather's job to be lovable, I think. Don't need to thank me, I'm benefiting from it as well.

I would do anything to stop him from hurting you. That sound fair to me, then. Yeah, he is, and I love him. [She returned his smile.] It’ll be nice to have you around again, I needed a friend.

And he'd listen to you, everyone does. Then we have a deal. Understandably so, it's hard not to love an awesome grandfather. [His smile widened and squeezed her hand.] Then it's lucky I'm here because I'm here to be your friend.

I wouldn’t let him do that. He has a different meal time than me most of the time. He really is, you’re lucky to have him as your grandfather. But it might lead to real fighting one day. Of course I did. I missed you, and I like you a lot, Renly.

At least you're the one person that could stop him. I still wouldn't do it though. I might eat your leftovers if you're not hungry. I am lucky. But you're grandfather is pretty rad as well. [He smiled brightly at her.] I missed you too. And I think you've figured out that I lo — like you a lot.

You’re sweet to not take the food even though I’m offer it. He’s a wonderful babysitter. But I’ll still worry about you. I mean, soldier training? I don’t want you to be a soldier, not when I just got you back.

Is it still sweet if I'm trying to save my ass as well? I bet Jameson would glare a hole in my ass if I took your food. He's the best, got lots of experience too. I don't like the idea of it but it's training right? Not real fighting yet. I didn't know you wanted me to be back.

You’re sweet. I’ve been slowly learning from Arch. He’s keep helping me babysit Lucas. [Kirsi dropped her hand, taking his in her own.] I’m just worried about you. I don’t want you getting hurt.

Nah, just being honest. Plus I'd feel like an ass. Ah, Pops is the ultimate babysitter. He's who I learned off as well. [Renly took her hand, looking at her with concern.] Hey, don't be sad. I'm more likely to hurt someone else.

It would be sharing. I don’t mind, anyway. I’m the youngest so I couldn’t be a babysitter. [Kirsi forced a soft smile.] I’m sure you’ll do fine. 

[renlysawyer]

And I still couldn't take it from you. I can show you the ropes of baby sitting. I'm a pro at it. [Cocking his head to the side he watched her carefully.] What's wrong? And I won't. I can't walk in a straight line without falling over, I'll be fuckin' hopeless. I'll probably shoot someone by accident.

Sorry Renly. You’ll get used to it. I’ll share my food with you if you are still hungry. It’s not so bad, it’s like the chores I had at home. Oh. [She grew quiet for a second.] It’s training with other children to be soldiers. 

[renlysawyer]

That's balls. I guess I can get used to it though. I'm not going to take your food from you. I suppose it would be, most of my chores were babysitting. [His eyes widened.] Well shit. They're 'bout to find out how useless I am then.

[She giggled.] Kinda, but don’t let them hear you say that. They’re strict about food, though, so you won’t be able to get snacks ever. They usually give me kitchen duty and I clean pots and plates. If scavengers bring food back, I help clean it. What does your schedule say for you?

Nooo! Don't tell me that. I need like eight snacks a day to function. This is going to fuckin' suck balls! That sounds gross. And totally no fun. Ah... It says basic tra. I don't know what that is.
