season-themed prom venues | ceru

i got bored pretty quickly of the constant prom events every week in my game so i decided to make things more interesting by decorating the auditorium for each season/holiday that was occuring.

incl. are 4 prom audiotoriums decorated for summer, spooky day, love day, and winter

Wedding season has officially begun and what's more fun than a wedding in Strangerville? Have the most garish and tastefully trashy wedding in Strangerville's one and only Love Chapel. Dance the night away to strange disco beats on the dance floor, try some of that suspiciously colourful food from the buffet and have a bite from one of those strange purple fruits outside. You won't forget this wedding, I'm sure of it! A huge thank you goes to @doctorsimcraft and @surely-sims who both made this wedding chapel come true with their gorgeous cc!

So what do you get?

The Love Chapel is a 30x20 wedding venue lot, that is perfect for a small to midsize wedding. It has a wedding arch, a dance floor, a dj booth, 2 buffets and everything else you'll need for a wedding (except for a bar - I'm sorry!). I playtested the lot, but as you probably know My Wedding Stories isn't exactly a bug-free pack, so be prepared to tear your hair out while your sims won't walk the aisle or have strange hugs while metres apart... but it's Strangerville, so stranger things might have happened, who knows!

The lot was created for the Carpophagous Corner lot in Strangerville.

Uses items from the following packs: looks best with almost all expansion packs. You will only need a few gameplay packs and stuff packs, but a tip: take a look at the build in the gallery and click on the packs to see the items I used from that pack, it might also look good with fewer packs.

aka the only way i can play this game is through challenging gameplay and getting attached to my sims.

LIFESPAN: CUSTOM (LONG+) i use mccc to change the values for each lifestage. newborn: 7 days infant: 35 days toddler: 49 days child: 98 days teen: 147 days young adult: 198 days adult: 294 days elder: 98 days

sim pregnancy: 21 days (7 days per trimester)

season: 14 days

kitten/puppy: 14 days adult cat/dog: 175 days elder cat/dog: 63 days

MCCC DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENTS in brackets is how the number actually plays out ingame bc why do they change the unit of change like every setting idk man. character values: -15 (150% slower) sim motive decay: 125% skill difficulty adjustment: -12 (120% slower) apartment bills: 150% (triple) change bills: 150% (triple) child support: 2% career difficulty adjustment: -10 (100% slower) university difficulty adjustment: -5 (50% slower)

bare; a skintone pack

there are so many creators out there who make such beautiful cc skintones, but i’ve wanted to make my own so i gave it a try! this took me 2 months because i had zero idea and had to take multiple breaks from the frustration ;-; i was wrapping them up when ea announced they were fixing their skintones but people still wanted them dfkjghf anyway, here they are! if there are any inconsistencies with the swatches, just know that i tried my best (｡╯︵╰｡)

I am so excited to be releasing my first sims 4 save-file!

This is version 1.0 which is a redo of Newcrest! There are also lots completed for Willow Creek, but that world is incomplete and will be updated in a future version.

Disclaimer: I own all of the DLC, and have used them throughout the builds and households. You can still download this without all of the DLC, but some items may be missing and need to be replaced. (I went back and forth on this, but ultimately my community said to just go for it).

No Mods/CC Required

There are 9 households living in Newcrest, with other households in Willow Creek and Not in World to populate the world. 

For console players, all of the lots and households are available on the sims 4 gallery. My id: simgraze

The downtown area of Newcrest is very sims 3 inspired, with many of the buildings taking influence from Sunset Valley. You can find the Doo Peas Corporate building for all of your freelance sims to visit. Check out the Sunset Plaza shops, including a gym, grocery store, bookstore, and thrift store. Get political at Town Hall and meet Mayor Avanche, who may be engaged in a lively debate. Have drinks at Waylon's Sports Bar, or grab dinner at the Sims 3 Bistro, or the run-down diner next door.

With plenty of drama, and 3 lots ready for your sims to move into, Newcrest is a great place for sims of all ages who are looking for a fresh start.

In terms of future updates, Willow Creek and San Myshuno are both in the works. I have no idea when they will be released, but I definitely want to release those updates at some point.

(Not Required, but what I use). The only mods that I recommend in terms of keeping sims in your neighborhood is Home Regions by Kuttoe. I like messing with my settings so that only sims from Willow Creek and Newcrest will populate my world.
