It’s been well over a year since I did anything with this blog and I’ve been debating deleting it, but I do enjoy this character and the people I’ve met here have been fun to talk to. I think this will probably be my only post for a while longer while I sort through a lot.
Hello. The end of 2023 and all of 2024 were a bit of a rollercoaster for me. To start things off:
I graduated college!
I had a medical emergency five days after graduating college.
That medical emergency turned out to be cancer.
I fought cancer for all of 2024.
I went through a horrible breakup in 2024.
I had to move house.
I beat cancer (for now, it is chronic)!
Because of all that had occurred, it’s safe to say this blog was at the back of my mind and unfortunately a lot of the love I felt for how I was doing things faded. I’m a lot more exhausted now than I was when I started it all. So! I want to renovate this blog. Start fresh. Fix up the character and his Carrd.
Expect changes, hopefully sometime in the next month.

Sora about jumped out of his skin when the replica bodies head turned to face him. All the color drained from his face but held it together enough not to scream.
He wrinkled his nose as he felt a light touch to it before Rikuto was back.
“That. That was absolutely horrifying and I’ve been to Halloween Town and liked it there.”
Sora’s mischievous grin matched the prank ideas he already had thought up.
“Oh, absolutely. No one is safe from our pranks. Do you have someone in mind?”
“Hmm,” Rikuto tilted his head, thinking. His first choice for a prank would be Riku, but considering Riku was already somewhat accustomed to his shenanigans, he doubted it would be effective.
“Well, Riku’s a safe choice,” he began, “but not only is he aware I can do this, he probably... also might have trauma because I can do this. Um... I’m afraid I don’t know as many people as you do.”
He sighed and got to his feet, patting the dirt off his butt. “I am not pranking Namine... Maybe Vanitas? But we’d have to expect violent retaliation...”

Not very often, I think? Kiru isn't too talkative and Sora's flighty. I like to think they send pictures back and forth, though.

Even less than they text. If you're gonna say something either put it in writing or say it in person with Kiru.

Never on purpose. He might startle and fail to pick up if he isn't expecting a call. And then he'll call back immediately.

He doesn't understand certain acronyms Sora might use but doesn't wanna look uncool by asking Sora to explain, so he looks them up. Sometimes he's wrong. He doesn't mind if Sora uses emojis or anything, and doesn't care about misspelling as long as he can understand what Sora's trying to say.
How quickly my muse responds to your texts:
He texts Sora fairly often! If Sora sends him a lot of questions or texts in general within a period of time, he'll respond to it all in one large body of text instead of separately. He doesn't use acronyms much and emojis even less, and will prefer the 90s-2000s emoticons. With noses. :-)

I'd say they text frequently!

Not too often. Maybe if they're unable to hang out that week, they'll call instead? But more can be said via text and plans are more solidified over text.

Not at all! Rikuto likes listening to Sora talk. He'll often text Sora if he can't answer the phone right away.

“ACK, what the fuck--” He barely had a chance to react before Sora was already scrubbing him down. He still struggled, especially if Sora’s hands roamed any further than his arms and chest. “What’s your problem?!”
Once it was apparent that Sora wasn’t letting up, he grabbed Sora’s wrists and spun him around until he had him pinned against the wall of the shower. He squinted down at his friend. “Mind explaining yourself?”
►HE WASN’T EXPECTING KIRU TO PIN HIM AGAINST THE WALL. Such a bold move on the silverette’s part&he wondered if the guy knew what he was doing & if he knew what this was eventually going to lead up to.
Half-lidded eyes stared at the other , water hitting him& getting him completely soaked. He wasn’t complaining about the position , it only gave him the perfect opportunity to tease his so called friend , suggestive noise leaving his lips as he wiggled slightly in place. ❛ I think that’s my line , Kiru. Mind explaining why you suddenly pinned me to the wall like this? Don’t tell me you suddenly got certain urges? ❜
His gaze wandered down the others body& landed on a very specific area unabashedly.❛ I mean —— I’m game~ ❜
“You really do have a one-track mind, don’t you?” he grunted, raising a brow. Despite his struggling earlier, he didn’t particularly care whether Sora saw certain parts of him or not.
He leaned in close, lips hovering over Sora’s. “Maybe we should scrub you down instead, see if that cleans that dirty mind of yours. Or maybe I should play along, let you get it out of your system.”
“Of course, I can’t do anything with you yet. You wanted me to bathe, right? Clearly I don’t do it often enough for your liking,” he said, pulling away. He grabbed the shampoo bottle and turned to wash his hair properly. The only thing he liked more than Sora himself was to tease Sora. He glanced over at him and grinned, teeth sharp against his lip. “You can join me if you want.”
“I’d like to say he deserves it but also….”
Sora shrugged. He didn’t dare give down that rabbit hole of thoughts.
“I think you should give it a try at least once. It’s something you can say you’ve done that not many else have.”
What Sora hadnt expected was for Rikuto to take his advice literally and at that moment.
“Wait, wait! Holy shit this is creepy.”
He caught Rikuto and slowly made sure he was laying down. Sora too caught up in trying to process what had happened swipped at his cheek where Rikuto had poked him.
“Where are you? I love this but am also absolutely freaked out.”
As his hair was being messed with Sora glanced up on instinct to see if his friend was there… nothing.
“Can you move anything? Or shove me?”
Just to mess with Sora further, Rikuto stopped playing with Sora’s hair and placed his hands on the head of his replica body. He made the head swivel to look directly at Sora while his friend was still holding it.
After a few seconds, he poked Sora’s nose before sinking back into his body. He sat up. “Looks like I can move things around like that. I guess I’m not too surprised, I was able to stop my other self in his tracks...”
He turned to grin at his friend. “Wanna see who we could prank with this?”

►HE HAD SHAMPOO IN ONE HAND & body wash in the other as he stared down at Kiru. When was the last time the guy had taken a proper shower? He had to wonder just where on earth the silverette had been to. His immediate thought was to Kiru digging through trashcans for food.
❛ Alright you wild beast of a man. Let's get you all cleaned up & in some clean clothes. ❜ There was a smirk on his lips before he turned on the water & began to scrub down the other. Clearly there was no escaping this. Or rather , it was too late to escape.

what does your muse smell like? rikuto: often of lavender and other flowers, sometimes like coffee kiru: like the earth and rain, and those who can smell darkness will find him permeated with its scent
what do your muse’s hands feel like? rikuto: soft, healed from scars and old calluses he’d inherited from riku. it’s clear he applies lotion regularly. kiru: he’s got calluses and scars galore. his knuckles have scars from constantly splitting.
what does your muse usually eat in a day? rikuto: his diet is balanced and meets his nutritional needs. most of his meals are nutritious but he always treats himself to something sweet at some point in the day. the only constant in his diet is coffee. kiru: he doesn’t often get full meals from his constant running, so his usual diet is something quick he could steal or throw together (often with stolen ingredients). he’s sick of the taste of eggs by this point but eggs are easy to grab.
does your muse have a good singing voice? not really.
does your muse have any bad habits or nervous tics? rikuto: he plays with his hair a lot when he’s stressed or nervous. if he isn’t playing with his hair, he’s fiddling with someone’s hands (not his own). he only fiddles with people’s hands if he’s close to them, however, so he is most often seen running his fingers through his hair. kiru: he’s twitchy. constantly looking around for danger. doesn’t seem to trust anybody or anything. he has a tendency to stare.
what does your muse normally look like/wear? rikuto: long hair, sporty clothes. he likes wearing clothes that are breathable and allow him to move freely. he takes pride in his looks. kiru: long hair that’s always tangled. his clothes are often mismatched because he steals what he can get. eyes are permanently golden. despite his wild nature, he does bathe regularly. he isn’t a caveman.
is your muse affectionate? how so? rikuto: very, if he’s close enough to somebody. when he’s comfortable he always wants to make sure some part of him is either touching another person or connected in some other way (sharing clothes, for example). kiru: he’s a bit too anxious to feel comfortable with physical touch, but you’ll know he likes you if he drops his guard when alone with you. (note: you’d have to be guaranteed to be alone)
what position does your muse sleep in? rikuto: he often sleeps on his stomach or side, and on bad nights he takes on the fetal position. if he sleeps fine through the night he’s buried under a comforter. kiru: he sleeps like he’s ready to bolt at the drop of a hat. always facing the exit or a window.
could you hear your muse in the hallway from another room? rikuto: no, his steps are very controlled and quiet. it’s completely unintentional. kiru: only if he’s comfortable. he will sneak around or take corridors to spare himself the risk of getting caught otherwise.

“I’ve haunted Riku,” Rikuto said, scratching the back of his head. “I don’t really think that counts, though. I just tagged along with him out of the Realm of Darkness and didn’t leave his side until I helped get rid of the darker version of me during the war.”
He shrugged. “I’ve never tried pranking anyone with it, though I have gone off to inspect the source of noises and stuff. It’s safer to keep my body in the house or something and inspect whatever it is I hear outside as a ghost than it is to charge blindly into a situation. We can test it and see if I can do much else with it. Catch!”
In an instant, the replica body lost all features and collapsed forward into Sora, no longer piloted by anything. It was practically an eerie, blank doll in Rikuto’s clothing. The person inhabiting it, however, strode around Sora, while completely invisible. He poked Sora’s cheek, unsure if Sora could feel it. He then reached up to touch Sora’s hair, gently pushing his hair spikes until Sora’s hair formed a star shape.

Runa quickly held up her own hands up, palms up and open to show she meant no harm. Even when she noticed his stance seemed to have relaxed, the young brunette still held them up just to be extra sure. Looking him over, Runa couldn’t help but place a name to his face. While it had been literal years since she’s seen him, something told her that… This would be Riku… right?
But, the way he reacted to seeing her– Eyes glanced downward and to the side. He didn’t know who she was.. but he definitely looked at her like she was.. familiar in some way. No doubt it was because of her brother…
“Easy, like I said: You’re safe– and you’re fine.” The girl managed to say, looking back at the other. Getting a better look at him, she couldn’t help but quirk a brow. He looked… younger..? Riku was a year older than the two of them, but this person didn’t fit the bill in that regard.
“I’m never ‘safe‘,” he hissed, before flinching backwards. He didn’t think the girl was a threat anymore, but he still didn’t trust her completely.
The way she looked at him was aggravatingly familiar. She recognized his face. She likely knew who Riku was, and the Replica couldn’t catch a break, could he? Not even in death... He lifted a hand to his head and groaned, feeling it ache.
“Where am I?” he asked again, more calmly this time. “I thought I was dead.”
@replica-r sent: “Apparently, I’ve joined the ranks of the demons. That’s what the priest told me when he was trying to ‘save my immortal soul’, or whatever.”
"One. I'd never trust a priest on that stuff. Two. If anything were to happen at least you are set with a new army to control."
To be completely honest this wasn't the worst or weirdest thing Sora has ever heard. Frankly he found it amusing considering it was Rikuto who said it.
"Whyd you go to see a priest? You aren't haunted, right?"
Sora wasn't knowledgeable in hauntings but he wasn't completely clueless.
“I mean, technically I am,” Rikuto said. He put his hands in his pockets. “I’m just a ghost inhabiting a body, so I am haunted.”
He gave Sora a cheeky grin and leaned back against the wall.
“I went to France for a mission. The man running the cathedral I’d gone to was a real piece of work.”
He shrugged. “He tried calling me a slur for another race, so I told him I was a different slur, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man get so angry he turned purple before.”
