It was written, but never told ✍🏽 After a dark 2020, my 2021 was fueled with wins, growth, and the opportunity to help others. My 2020 started towards the end of 2019 when I was plagued with constant bad news, loss of a job, and not having a sense of direction. I was lucky to have the best circle of family, friends, and colleagues. Essentially, I had developed the best network of people to pick me up when I was down. My hunger to succeed and get back on track clouded my mind with what I really needed to work on, which was ME. You can look in the mirror all you want, and tell yourself that everything is OK, when in actuality, it’s not. We all need to step back once in a while and work on the little things like our outlook, attitude, and what really is important to us. 2021 ends today and I couldn’t be prouder of myself than I am today. I’ve helped friends land jobs, and get accepted into their dream schools. I love my job and my coworkers, and I’m constantly putting myself in situations where I can learn. I picked up new hobbies in tennis 🎾and sports card ⛹🏽♂️collecting. I started hooping again and eating healthier. It’s the positive ME decisions that I strongly believe lead to better mental health. 🧠 I’m forever grateful to the people that were there for me throughout the 2020 drought season, and helped me fly in 2021. You people know who you are and I’ll make sure to reach out to every single one of you! So many good things are about to happen to EVERYONE in 2022.
