Korla'ene Emepaea O Te Weranga Kapua
A silence lay over a crowd of millions.
One man stands in front of them, barely visible to most, covered head to toe in grass garments, which flow in the wind.
The entire crowd stands, waiting in anticipation.
5 years ago, the New Republic of Korlan started a brutal campaign, a war that would last for 2 years, resulting in the deaths of millions all across the globe. The war would effect every continents on Ulina, ending only after the mutual assured destruction of both Korlan, and it's neighbour, Vau'sena.
Some bastions still remain of the former faction known as the Allied Effective, though not nearly as powerful as what once was. In Ailou, the only remaining Ilfiatists are in Kantouba, and the former New Republic capital of Sierrana.
Storinka's Korlan, which was once considered one of the most powerful nations in Ulina, has been reduced to a small city state, allowed to exist due to pledging their loyalty to the Tapuangan Key.
In the crowd, not a single word is uttered, not about the past, not about the future, not about Storinka or the Effective, not about what had brought them here today.
3 years ago, Korlan, in it's entirety, was ravaged by nuclear bombs ordered by the Vau'senaan government, in response to Storinka's last ditch effort to eliminate his opponent amidst his trial.
Now, 3 years later, the survivors of these attacks all stand in front of the Onamata, waiting on his remarks. No one is quite sure what exactly they're there for, but they know it's important.
"Kia ora." The Onamata said softly into his microphone, a common greeting amongst the Korlanic. "Today I have summoned you to make an announcement. We have met with several local leaders, and kept this secret close."
The Korlanic people looked forward, still unspeaking.
"Today, is the first day, of something great, of something new, of something that will rise like the phoenix of the ashes of a giant, to become bigger and better than what was."
Some cheers began to erupt from the crowd, however, they were quickly silenced by the Onamata speaking again.
He uttered one sentence, which caused the entire crowd to erupt into cheers.
"Korla'ene Emepaea O Te Weranga Kapua"
Korlanic Empire Of The Burning Clouds
The City of Sierrana
The former sprawling metropolis of Sierrana, the legislative capital of Korlan, the second biggest city in Ailou, and the third most active port city in Ailou. Now, the city lays in ruin, run by the last remnants of the former Ilfiatist government, plagued by terrorists running amok.
Fighting in the streets lasting days, only ending when the ruling Ilfiatist's released operational test tanks from during the war. The last bastion of Ikaroa's bygone government rules over the city, erecting a statue of the Ilfiatist leader. They began to construct walls around the city and rebuilding it, forcing the survivors remaining in the city to join their ranks.
After a few months, the city became more of a fortress than a city, with more former Ilfiatists hearing the news of the settlement and moving in as well. The city slowly became a stronghold for the Ilfiatist party, who began to force surrounding towns to pay fees for their protection, which they all did, due to their dire circumstances.
Rumours quickly began to spread that Takina Faletau, the former Rangamarsolo of the New Republic of Korlan, and Storinka's right hand was in charge of Sierrana. This rumour reached Akalotu, and as far as the Farlands. All former Korlanic territory knew of this rumour, though, they deemed it nothing more than a rumour.
A flag was flown over the city of Sierrana soon after this rumour was began. The gold symbolizing the sacrifice made my Storinka, the red symbolizing the blood spilt during the Ilfiatist War, the black symbolizing the ashes of the fallen Korlanic soldiers and the mushroom anchor, symbolizing the mushroom cloud, which halted or "anchored" the progression of the Korlanic people.
Tohorā pt. 2
A flash of light woke up the group before the sound of a large explosion followed. The foundations of the factory they were staying in shook and the ceiling began to crumble. The young woman in charge of the children began to rush them out of the building, as they got to the street they saw, the same symbol she saw on the flag, spray painted on every building.
Several fires lined the skyline, skyscrapers began to fall apart, the sky barely visible from the smoke. One of the older children recognised the symbol.
"Mrs, my daddy told me about this picture, it's Rapu'utae."
She knew immediately what that meant, while she didn't know the symbol, the name Rapu'utae is known by everyone. One of the most prolific terrorist organizations in Ulina's history, named after the Atuana of vengeance. It was long rumoured that Rapu'utae worked closely with the Storinka administration, however, this attack on the final stronghold of the Ilfiatist regime in Korlan seems to suggest otherwise, or atleast, suggests the two groups had a falling out.
Then, the gunshots started, in the distance. The two groups had begun fighting.
"Kids head into the building there" The young woman said gesturing the an old barbershop across the street. "We need to hide."
As the began to flock the kids into the building, a bullet grazed her head, knocking her out cold.
She began to have visions of 15 individuals around her, all covered from head to toe in cloth and leaves, she knew who they were, the Tiaki, or more commonly known as, the Tapuangan Keep.
The Keep pt. 5
A few weeks had passed since the arrival of the Tiaki in Akalotu, and they have attracted a lot of positive attention throughout the city. Tapuangans from the surrounding area have all come to visit the church and listen to the Tiaki explain their plans.
Hundreds of Tapuangans have pledged their allegiances to the Tiaki all throughout Asini. News has begun to spread across the isles that the Tiaki are in Akalotu and are planning what has been called "Katoa" which roughly translates to "All". It has been described as a crusade across the Korlanic Isles with the goal of reuniting the followers of the Tapuangan faith together. In the morning, there was a meeting scheduled with any and all followers who could attend.
At dawn, hundreds of Tapuangans arrived in Akalotu, the most people that have been in the city since the war ended years ago.
"Welcome all, I am the Onamata. I'm sure you all know what that entails. We have decided to come to Akalotu because the Tapuangan faith in beginning to fade, our population dwindles in the aftermath of the nuclear war. While it was a difficult decision to make, we have decided that for once in our hundred year history, we must take a more active role in the preservation of Tapuanga."
The crowd erupted into cheers.
"We need all able bodied individuals to help us. To help spread the word of our arrival. Tell the people of the isles to join us, and together we will create a prosperous nation, a peaceful nation. We will bring peace to Ailou that hasn't been seen in many decades."
The crowd continued to cheer for the Onamata.
That night the Onamata arranged for a meeting with the leader of the Ard-atim Church in the Farlands, the largest non-Tapuangan church in Ailou. The Farlands used to be under the Korlanic rule, and the Onamata hoped to work out a deal with his fellow religious leader over reuniting the two. High Priest Cillian Luchóg, leader of the Farlands agreed to meet in Akalotu to discuss.
Tohorā pt. 1
The sun began to set on the city of Sierrana, meaning the last remnants of the Agilosi’ni are beginning their hunt. For months, the remaining survivors of Ikaroa Storinka's elite guard, who survived in a bunker under Sierrana, have been ruling over Sierrana and it's surrounding region, lead by Takina Faletau, the woman who orchestrated the Tahuna Genocide.
"We have to be quiet now guys, the bad guys are outside."
Around 30 kids immediately stopped talking, they knew what this meant.
As the wind blew through the 3rd floor of the abandoned factory, a young woman, barely in her 20s, began to pace the balcony overlooking the streets. Since her partner passed away 3 weeks prior, she's had to care for these children on her own.
The very vivid dreams and visions she's had since she was a child have been increasing, experiencing them almost every night. For the past month she's been seeing men in robes, covered head to toe in cloth, in her dreams. Tonight she will dream of them again, this time, in a more familiar setting.
Upon falling asleep that night, she would dream of these men, and another man she had seen before, in a church, one she recognised as being in Akalotu, it was the largest Tapuangan church in the world. She had only ever seen photos of the building, but it's style was so distinct and grand, it was unmistakable. She couldn't hear what the men were saying, but she could make out what the man without cloth draped over his head said by reading his lips.
He said her name.
She awoke abruptly to whispering, she moved slowly to the balcony and looked out, Agilosi’ni were just outside. She could just barely hear them.
"Have you heard the rumours?" One of the men said.
"About the Tiaki coming to the isles? Of course I have." The other responded.
"Something big must be coming."
"Takina said it's probably not true. But I don't buy it."
"I do, they've never been to the isles before, they spend all their time cooped up in a house in Kuwhara."
It was in that moment, she realised the men she's been seeing in her dreams were the Tiaki, the individuals of highest importance in the Tapuangan religion, at least since the last prophet passed.
"I think Takina doesn't want us following them if anything is happening." The first man continued. "She never was as religious as Storinka."
"Would you leave her if the Tiaki asked it of you?"
"Of course I would. Their word means more than anyones in our religion, you know that."
"I'm so sorry" The second man said as he raised his rifle and shot the first man in the head.
The young lady quickly backed away, keeping her eyes on the man as he continued up the street past the factory, holding her breath the whole time.
She didn't sleep the rest of the night, instead sitting around watching the children the whole night. However, when she looked outside in the morning, a flag was draped on the body of the man she saw murdered the night before. She didn't recognise it, as it was never taught during her time in school. However, the flag is known worldwide, and the symbols upon it, invoke fear in the girl.
The Keep pt. 4
The silence surrounding what once was the busiest city in Ailou was eerie, even for the 8 men who had never been there in their lives. No ships were on the water with them as they approached the formerly biggest port city on the continent, they will be the first ones to dock at the world famous port city in over a year. Overgrowth had begun to take over the city.
The 8 men began to tie their boat up at one of the vacant docks on the pier. This is the furthest they had been from home since they were much younger.
"I've read a lot about this city, never expected it to be so quiet." One of the younger men said.
"If it was still busy here we wouldn't be here, be lucky to be seeing it at all." The Onamata replied angrily. "We will being setting up our new home in Karakia, you all should know why."
"I never thought i'd get to see it in person."
"The biggest church on the continent, but are we sure it's still standing."
"I can guarantee it." responded the Onamata "Listen closely."
A faint sound of music is heard by the men coming from the south, as they begin to pack up their things and travel towards the sound, they see, despite the entire city being in disrepair, a beautiful and massive church loomed ahead of them, in almost pristine condition. The music got louder as they approached, before ceasing as they reached the doors.
"What happened? Do they know we're here?"
"He does." replied the Onamata as he opened the door. "Of course he knows, he led us here."
"Who is he?"
"Wiwo'ole."
A man, standing at around 8 feet tall stood before the men. As he turned around, it became obvious that he had several different musical instruments draped over him, including the drums he was playing on which attracted the Tiaki. He simply smiled at them all.

The Keep pt. 3
As the sailboat passed over the horizon, the 6 remaining members of the Tiaki walked back up to the villa. It had never been so empty before. The lowest population of the villa before today had been 13. For almost 3 days the group barely spoke, spending most of their time in the quarters reading, or watching the premises.
On the 3rd day, the oldest member left in the villa had a dream of the voyage his friends had embarked on. Seeing the waves had subsided and the wind has eased. Yet the sailboat continued to move towards Akalotu.
He was then awoken abruptly by one of the other members of the Tiaki, informing him of a miracle that occurred that night. The area surrounding the villa had grown vegetation, the first time since the bombs had dropped. Grass, flowers, trees and bushes had all grown out around 300 ft around, before again being more of a wasteland. It was always a miracle that the villa itself had survived.
"You're welcome."
The 6 members of the Tiaki that had gathered at the gate turned around in surprise.
"Māmanu?"
"At your service."
They began to bow before vines pulled them back up and straightened them out.
"No need for that boys, what you guys are doing is going to save the Atua. We owe you and we have convened and agreed to help you all in your journey." Māmanu said as he began to repair the cracks in the villas walls with his hands. "I'm not supposed to be speaking to you directly as i'm sure you all know, but I must inform you that for the first time in a five hundred years, a prophet is born."
The Keep pt. 2
The waves crashed against the rocks on the north Kuwharan coast as the Tiaki stocked their sailboat full of supplies that will last them 3 days. They began to say goodbye to each other, this being the first time the 14 of them will ever be apart. The Onamata looked out to the choppy Olmic waters, the sun rising over the horizon casting an orange glow over the waves.
"I will miss this view." He said as he walked into the ocean, stopping when the water was about ankle height. "And i'll miss these waters."
"This ocean is the same as the one in the isles." Said one of the members he was about to set sail with.
"Not quite, their waters are riddled with rusting war boats."
"I suppose, but the time of conflict in Ailou is over now."
"I'm not quite sure it is." The Onamata began to wade further into the Olmic, stopping just before his knees were submerged. "The continent is more fractured than ever. They will all be vying for power there, and i'm more than certain many of them will not accept Tapuanga."
"Are you saying you want to go to war?"
"I do not want to, but I swore an oath to preserve our faith, and if I must, I must."
The Onamata looked out over the water as the sun was much higher in the sky now, in that moment a large whale, much larger than any had ever seen off this coast, breached over the waves, making air for what felt like an entire minute.
The group worked at stocking the boat for another hour, in almost complete silence, they knew it was likely they may never meet again, but that this journey was essential to stop the senseless violence riddling the Korlanic Isles.
8 men left the villa that morning, leaving 6 to protect the home they knew their entire lives. The wind, which had been blowing west the entire morning, now blew the Tiaki's sailboat to their destination down south, behind them, unnoticed, the same whale breached once more.
The Keep pt. 1
The sound of wooden sandals hitting stone tiles echo throughout the halls of Vualika. An unnamed member of the Tiaki is rushing through the villa towards the main hall, he pushes the doors to the hall open and collapses in the middle, clutching his chest. The 12 members of the Tiaki in the hall all rush to his side, all demanding to know what's happened. As the first members began to bleed out, he told his companions that 4 men attempted to break into the villa, but were held off by him and the 2 other members.
"The other two are still by the gate, it doesn't look like there was anyone else." Said the first man.
"These attacks are becoming more frequent, the people are desperate to find a place to stay in this wasteland." The Onamata, their leader, responded. "We need to go public."
"What do you mean?" Another man asked.
"We need to unite the people. Tapuanga is dying, I know we all feel it, so we need to the isles."
"You mean we need to leave Vualika?"
"Not all of us. Half of us should stay, take care of the villa while the rest of us go to Akalotu, we will start there and attempt to reunite the people." The Onamata said, as he began to walk to his chair at the head of the hall. "I also need one of you to visit Kantouba, despite their allegiances to the late Storinka, I believe we can get help from them if we visit their church."
"And if it doesn't work?"
"It will."
Later that night, the Onamata would have two dreams. One of a young boy being sheltered from the weather in a half collapsed building in Tupleana, and the other of a girl in her twenties caring for several children alone in Sierrana.
The Tiaki all awoke to their companion having passed away from internal bleeding in the night. His body was cremated at edge of the cliff the villa sits upon, his ashes both being blown south towards the Korlanic Isles.
"Tohorā" the Onamata said bowing his head. "Tomorrow we set sail to Akalotu."
Wanted: Takina Faletau
Confirmation has just come in that Takina Faletau, the former Rangamarsolo of the New Republic of Korlan is alive. International bodies have unanimously agreed that any major Ilfiatists that are presumed or confirmed alive must be taken alive to an international court to face trial over the actions of the New Republic and the Allied Effective.
Takina, commonly referred to as the Tuplean Tulip, has been dubbed "The Last Ilfiatist". International volunteer police have discovered that she has been hiding in destroyed buildings and experimenting on hostages, her wife and brother have also been reportedly seen collecting individuals still loyal to the Rangamarsolo in the wastelands of the Korlanic Isles.
Anyone with information on the location of Takina Faletau or any of her known associates are urged to contact their local governments. The international community believes this could be one of the final steps in completely weeding out Ilfiatism from the post-war world.
Paolele
Ailou has never been the most stable continent on Ulina, however, with the collapse of several nations across the archipelagoes, including Korlan, Vau'sena, and Janasi, as well as the war that ravaged every other nation on the continent, Ailou is by far the least stable continent in the world. With 3 of the former most powerful nations of the area gone, and the rest recovering from the war, the future of Ailou is completely uncertain, with several groups unsure whether other nations can survive in their current state much longer.
During the collapse of Korlan and Janasi following the war, thousands sailed from the Korlanic Isles, to the peninsula on Janasi called Paolele, in order to avoid the affects of the nuclear attacks against Korlan.
These people established a new government, far removed from the Ilfiatist government they have known for the past few years. They formed an establishment they referred to by it's native name, Paolele. The peninsula is almost entirely uninhabited, apart from a few small fishing villages off the coast of the Great Paole Reef, the biggest coral reef in Ulina. These villages are small in comparison to the amount of refugee's entering the area, but welcomed the Korlanic people in, agreeing to work with them on reforming civilization in the area.
This nation has no real power on the global scale, and isn't even known outside of itself yet. However, the people of Paolele hope to work with other civilizations popping up in the collapsed states of Korlan and Janasi, as well as with other Ailouan nations going through the same struggles.
The Tuplean Tulip
The door swings open, the sun is low in the sky, casting warm colours into the room, and dark shadows wherever it cannot touch. Three men enter the room looking around frantically, they appear to be in a rush.
"This place is so fucking dirty, we can't possibly be in the right place." The first man said as he picked up an old glass, he blows the dust off it before continuing. "Who gave you the tip that she was here?"
"I've got a contact in Morima who knows their stuff."
"Now, where the fuck is Morima, that doesn't sound Korlanic at all." the first man replies, continuing to look around the room. "It's a town, city? in Kantouba." the second man continues "They claim to have an insider in her group."
"An insider? How reputable is this individual?"
"I'm not sure, but it's the best tip we've got in a while." The second man replied.
The trio continued to look through the house, not finding a lot, until the third man notices footprints on the dusty floor of the basement, along with a large area free of dust, in the shape of a swung open door. However, as he continued to look around he couldn't find a door anywhere.
"Hey guys, I think i've got something. Theres a lot of unsettled dust here, looks like theres some sort of secret door." The other men come bounding down the stairs, they all begin searching for some sort of button to open the door, before one of them finds a loose brick that appeared cleaner than the others. When he pressed it the door opened.
"The sun's died for the night, we need to grab our flashlights." The second man said before the others continued down the stairs.
Their lights flickered on as they continued down the spiral staircase deep underground. As the reached the bottom, they saw the most horrific sight of their lives.
"What the fuck happened here." The first man uttered as he stepped into a room with about 6 dead bodies. All identified as former members of Agilosi’ni, the secret military police of the Storinka regime. "Someone got to them before us."
"No, look at the wall." The third men said as he gestured to the word 'Kaikaiwaiū', which translated to traitors.
"Three of them are missing, likely the ones that killed the six individuals in front of us."
"Siaosi, Taimani and... Takina."
The men sit on the stairs for a moment. "What do we tell them?"
"We tell them she got away for now."
"Takina is one of the last Ilfiatists left in this area, as far as we're aware if we kill her theres no one to claim Storinka's place if this country ever comes back."
"Do you think they could get in contact with any organization around the world?" the second man stood up as he said this and began looking around the room for more clues on Takina's whereabouts.
"What organizations, the war left no unity left in this world."
"I don't know, reaching out to anybody would help, we need it. We need the outside world to stop seeing these islands as a curse and help us."
"Maybe the boss can reach someone in Kanita or Ripiero, I doubt they'd come though, they're either dealing with the last Ilfiatists in their own continent or the nuclear wasteland in Vau'sena. We're everyones last priority."
"If we tell them she's alive. The one who orchestrated the genocide. And that she's trying to get support, maybe they'd come?"
"We can try."
Unknown Location, Kantouba
A man wanders through the jungle in Kantouba, he is unaware of where he is. He is looking for any sign of civilization, any answers to where he's ended up, he wants to know if he's still in Korlan.
"What have I gotten myself into..."
"I need to find something soon."
"It's still pretty dark but, hopefully someone lives out here."
His headache starts to come back as he gets further into the jungle, and further away from the coast he woke up on. He doesn't know it, but the influence of the Atuae is beginning to wear off. They cannot influence anything the further he gets from their domain, their support isn't nearly as strong in Kantouba.
As he got further away from the domain of the Atuae, he begins to hallucinate, first seeing a town in the distance, before it disappeared as he approached, second seeing a group of people, who again, disappeared when he got closer.
Then he began to see an old foe of his, this hallucination didn't disappear as he got closer.
He curled up into a ball and began to hide from this hallucination.
"You're not real."
"I'm sure you believe that Kauri."
"You're not. i-i'm hallucinating."
"Then why am I still here Kauri."
"You're going to die out here, I know that for certain."
"You're already dead. You don't know anything."
"I have friends out here Kauri, friends who disagree with your way of living."
"There aren't any Ilfiatist's left in the south of Berusia. You've lost here, and everywhere else."
"Berusia.. you thin-"
The hallucination fades away. Leaving Kauri in silence again. He continues walking deeper into the jungle hoping to encounter someone.
Somewhere in Tersun, Korlanic Isles
Two men are wandering around the coastal town of Tersun on the Korlanic Isles. While Tersun wasn't deemed important enough to strike, nor was it close to anywhere important enough to strike, the fallout of the nuclear attacks, and the collapse of central government has left Tersun extremely desolate, very few people still leave here.
"I never visited this side of Berusia before the war"
"It was quite nice, lots of tourists but, it was nice."
"I knew when I heard about the bombs, I couldn't stay in Kanita, I had to come back home to Korlan."
"Do you think the isles could ever reunite again?"
"I'm surprised they did in the first place, I doubt it'll happen again."
"So you think it's the end of a united Korlanic Isles?"
"Maybe not, but I will never grow to the size it was. If Ikaroa was one thing he was charismatic, no one could've united Ailou like he did."
"Ironic that the most evil man in Ailou was the one to almost bring it together."
"They said that about me before, being the most evil man in Ailou"
"They were wrong."
"I think they see that now, but it's too late. They certainly wont help me reunite the isles, but it's not like the people here can be reunited."
The two men continued to walk in silence for a bit, before ending up on a dock near an old fairground. They sat and watched the sunset for a bit, in silence.
"Do you feel that?"
"Fuck, I think theres an earthquake."
"But we're not anywhere near a faultline?"
"That doesn't matter, we have to get out of here."
The dock collapsed. Waves begin shoving the two men around, they can barely swim.
"Kauri??? Kauri, where are you??? I'm made it to shore, everythings destroyed."
"I'm over here-"
The waves pull him under. He gets slammed into the rocks by the shore and passes out.
Hours later he wakes up on the shore with a piercing headache, expecting to find his friend, or find a familiar location.
But he's just stepped foot in Kantouba. A completely unfamiliar land, Kauri has never been to Kantouba, even during his presidency, he rarely even thought of the nation. Now he'll need to find his way in more unfriendly territory.
Kanotuba still holds the values of the Allied Effective, being run by Doufuya, a close ally of Storinka's.
He begins to hear a melody before falling asleep again on the beach, he awakens to the sunrise, feeling completely fine.
The Travelling Song
The city of Tupleana wasn't the target of a nuclear attack, but it's close proximity to Akalotu and Kerikil has caused it to suffer just the same. It's survivors have formed a small community spanning a few blocks, this community has been affectionately referred to as Harikoa, meaning Happiness. However, this community is going through severe internal turmoil. It is running out of food quickly. It's people have been relying on fish for weeks, however, several of it's inhabitants have been overcome by radiation sickness, leading to less fishing.
Arguments have become commonplace among the people of Tupleana. It's situation is looking bleak, especially with outside pressure mounting from gangs forming around the province.
The first fight broke out. Two men got into an argument over a pack of cigarettes. The first man knocked over a lamp causing a fire that lit up a small apartment. Six people died. Tensions are higher than ever.
The people are trying to rebuild their beloved "Harikoa". It's difficult, especially after the found a seventh dead they didn't realize before. More fights have broken out, none quite like the first. People have been getting more sick, the ashes from the building didn't help.
A small group of people from Tupleana were sitting around a campfire they have set up on the street one night when they hear singing, quickly followed by the sounds of various instruments and a wagon. People have begun to come out of their homes to see for themselves what was entering town, some began to prepare for a fight.
And then as the music gets louder, they realize, this isn't a threat. They'd heard rumours of a caravan, calling themselves the Travelling Song.
Military vehicles begin to drive into the city, atop of them not guns, but guitars, drums and singers. The trucks painted vibrant colours and it's drivers in makeup and goofy outfits.
Despite the pain around them, they're happy. And they gift their happiness to the people that once made up Korlan. Because even though life is difficult, the horrors of the wasteland cannot compare to what these people had been through under Storinka.
The people begin to sing and dance, the Tuplean people start to join in as they sing Tapuangan folk songs.
The city which was in turmoil, was being united again, with faith and with music. A couple on the docks of Tupleana listen to the music, and see a whale jump out of the water, and for a moment, in the moonlight, she appears to be made of gold.
The people of Tupleana realised tonight that through the apocalypse that has fallen upon their country, that they are merely just surviving, not living. But tonight they are living.
A bigger man steps forward with a ukulele. He sings of the once white beaches of Korlan. He begins to walk towards the ocean. Everyone follows him until he walks into the sea. He doesn't stop. The members of The Travelling Song claim to not know the man, nor do the people of Tupleana.
Wiwo'ole. The Atua of Music.
The Aftermath
The population of the Korlanic Isles is sparse.
The Farlands, Kunin and Abantu are now independent nations, looking for help in this new Ailou.
The people of Korlan pray for safety.
No leadership, no government.
The Korlanic Isles are alone, anyone could take control of these once powerful islands.
Prayers have remained unanswered.
Perhaps Tapuangan Pantheon died with it's people?
Perhaps they have abandoned the Korlanic people?
Militias have begun to fight for power across the entire isles. Now small groups, struggling to survive, these aggressive groups are growing in power. The survivors in Korlan now not only have to deal with nuclear fallout, but with those fighting over the isles.
Alone in this world, the once devoted followers of the Tapuangan Atuae begin to lose faith.
They begin to lose hope.
The sun rises above the wasteland of Akalotu, the survivors who have been looting the city are still asleep.
They awake to music.
Maybe the Atuae haven't left just yet.
The Atua of Music, son of Māero and Hoatu, plays his songs.
Wiwo'ole has come home to Korlan.
Hope has returned to the Korlanic Isles, even just for a moment.
