Korra Opening Sequence Complete

I’m finally done with all the four panels for my own take on the Korra opening sequence. :) Yey!

I loved the Korra finale, but this is sort of how I saw it ending, or rather, what I would have liked to have seen.

When all was said and done I felt like the romance was superficial, and not needed. It would have freed up more time for character development with Lin and Bolin and Asami had it not been there.

Just a quick update. The museum sustained minor damage during the recent attacks on Republic City. Natalie and I are laying low repairing the damage and removing rubble with the help of some earth benders. Hopefully General Iroh will come to the aid of the city.

We've heard rumor he is heading this way. In the hopes that he and Team Avatar can save us all, we are hanging this portrait by Yori Narpati in the museum to give us strength and faith.

Holy Cow! Look out, everyone! There's a new artist in Republic City. Ash! Ash is 22 and in college. Just check out his piece of Fire bender and friend of the Avatar, Mako!

Wow! Hanging in the museum now. We will have to seek out more pieces from Ash!

Normally, I would just ride on the coattails of whatever end-of-the-week episode sketch Joaquim posts, because he does those better than I do/can, but it looks like he didn’t get a chance to do one this week. So I did a quick Asami painting to accompany the airing of episode 107 today. Hope you guys enjoy that one! It’s a doozy.

Discovered an amazing artist who we wanted to add to our museum. You might have heard of him, Bryan Konietzko. He did this wonderful painting of Asami Sato which now hangs in the Republic City Art Museum in our portrait gallery

Due to increased security in Republic City, the museum's hours have been somewhat crazy, but we wanted to pay tribute to the city's police force by featuring this portrait of Toph Beifong and her daughter, our city's own police chief, Lin Beifong. Help us thank her for keeping us all safe.
