If you had told me it would take 7 years to financially recover from the financial abuse I suffered at the hands of my narcissistic ex, I’d have divorced him sooner.

Pretty much lol…🕉
Is this too much to ask? 😂😂😂
me looking for a distraction, after removing all possible physical distractions (specifically so that i would not get distracted): impossible. where have my distractions gone. who could have done this to me. i need them.
One of the worst things about adhd is that you can be so well intentioned and you can really connect to a task or assignment and really want to do it but you build it up in your mind and you want to do it perfectly so you end off biting off more than you can chew and it’ll float around in your mind that I have to do this thing but there’s this pressure that keeps building up and you feel like you’re hitting a wall and suddenly the deadline comes and all of the effort you wanted to put in has to get thrown out the window and you’re always racing to catch up in a race that you don’t remember signing up for
Wtaf!
He has kids 4 nights a month and just told me he is Dad 24/7.
Muthaflucker, please
You are dad like .14% of the time.

It’s been a few months of poisonous nonsense. I’ve started writing poetry to get it out.
I’m in love with button poetry and the use of spoken word to share feelings.
Today he broke a snow globe that my new love gave me. Then when I confronted him and asked for an explanation he went off about the car being a mess and then blamed me for not getting an interview for a promotion.
Apparently this progression:
My mother hates him
My mother is friends with someone
Someone is friends with his boss
His boss used to be my boss
Ipsofacto
His boss won’t promote him because of a weird connection to me.
What. The. Actual. Fuck.

Yesterday was my birthday
I turned 35.
I had a great day
It was too much for him
Today he is "too fragile" to be kind
Especially to the cheating slut who look like and angry dyke who is ruining his life and taking away his children.
I'm so weary of this that it feels like work to breathe.
True. #DivorceSucks #Christmas
Moving on isn’t about forgetting them or not loving them anymore. It’s about admitting that although you may still love them, the relationship isn’t worth the pain, and you deserve better. And most important, it’s about learning to love yourself more than you love them. After this, you may stop loving them, and you may even forget them. But if you don’t, at least you won’t be sad anymore. Maybe just once in a while. You’ll be over them, because you’re in love with someone new — yourself.

Today he started in about my mother again.
He read a Facebook post from the ex wife of an ex friend going on about her mother in law (the mom of the ex friend) and how much the MiL does for her grandkids.
He does this fake laugh thing to indicate that he thinks something helps his case. So he’s reading this post….“people always know that the kids are with her if not with me….can you even believe it. How in the world do other grandparents do it, what type of crazy people actually take care of their grandkids?….”
It continued for awhile.
Here’s the thing.
My mother is our only responsible grandparent.
She has a full time job
And lives with my grandfather
And they both lost my grandmother this summer.
She is preparing for her first Christmas without her mother.
Also, and perhaps most importantly.
THEY ARE NOT HER FUCKING CHILDREN!!!!!
She didn’t decide to make four Tiny Humans.
We did.
Him and me.
It’s not her job to care for them
It’s ours.
His and Mine.

P.S. Also my shoes under the kitchen table are a statement of hatred and disrespect.
Apparently
Entry 4:
And then there was the time he refused to get the Christmas decorations out of the closet because the house was clean enough to decorate.
I can't make this shit up.
One day someone will walk into your life and get it right where everyone else got it wrong. One day you won’t have to wait for a call or a text back. One day you won’t be the only one giving your all. One day you’ll finally meet someone who wants to help you grow in life. One day you’ll finally meet someone who isn’t afraid to give “love” another chance. One day you’ll finally meet someone you can trust with everything. One day you’ll have your best friend, your biggest supporter and your teammate all wrapped up into one person.
