I went to go preorder the English translation of Hidoku Shinaide this morning on Amazon and realized the cover previews were finally up. I’ve been following this series for so many years now and got a bit emotional seeing this. I know I speak for myself, as well as a lot of other fans, when I say that this is just incredible. The scanlation groups that worked so hard to deliver this to us, and we the fans, who have continuously shown Nekota-sensei our support; this is our hard work, dedication, and diligence paying off. I’m so proud to see this work finally getting the treatment it deserves, and now we can support it even more. I urge everyone who is a fan of this series and of Nekota Yonezou to please purchase her work, which will be available for print and for digital download through Kindle. The first BL manga is generally considered to be in the sunroom by Takemiya Keiko, originally published in 1970. The November gymnasium by Hagio Moto, published a year later, is considered to be the second one. Tamasaburou - Koi no Kyousoukyoku by Kishi Yuko began running in 1972.  Hagio Moto wrote Thomas no Shinzou in 1974.  Takemiya Keiko’s Kaze to Ki no Uta started running in 1975. In between 1970 to 1975, she also worked on other stories that could easily be considered to be BL. June magazine, the first BL magazine, started running in 1978.  Allan magazine, an offshoot of out magazine, was a rival to June that existed from 1980 to 1984, approximately. Throughout the 70s, there were lots of other artists who wrote manga that could be considered BL, including Naka Tomoko, Aoike Yasuko, Maya Mineo, Yamato Waki, etc. does this help?
