This is funny I literally came to your blog for d3rlord3 content because I fishing love knights with helmets that you can't see their faces, and I came to realisation that I literally did the same thing with Silent salt cookie. Literally just. A knight with no faces. Añywho greetings

Silent salt and Derlord fixation hitting me at the same time really made me realise I have a thing for knights I-- I don't think I'm all that sane about them... Faceless characters in general are just... Wow... And itch is being scratched in my brain very intensely

can i just say that my favorite thing ever about your d3rlord3 in-game and irl design is that he just has the broadest shoulders ever in-game, but he's actually much slighter irl? idk i just really like how his persona of competence is played up with the giant fur collar, shiny armor, large stature, and then you take it all off and he's just a guy. i love it.

If I may ramble-- I love contrasts :p I love making Derlord's persona much, MUCH bigger while he, in reality, is very slim. I actually imagined him to be quite insecure over his weight. He compensates by wearing baggy clothes and arm warmers (also because he has chronically cold hands) but if he could hide his body under golden armour well- why wouldn't he?

More contrasts with Avery, too! His persona is literally just. Him. But slime and slightly taller (only so because he's a mob). Avery is much more comfortable and happy with his body than Derlord is, he's a slime because he thought that'd be funny

Derlord's insecurities aren't really something that eats at him all day every day I would say. He is still fine with the person he is, he knows he's smart and he knows he looks *fine* to other people. It's just something that's always in the back of his mind, even if he genuinely believes it isn't, and that's reflected with how drastically different his persona looks to him
