(@rescuerivy) Moonflower and Cosmo walk up to Cario and Elizabeth. "How adorable, you look like a little hero with that Honedge at your side." Cosmo noted. "And that mask is adorable."

"My name is Moonflower, and this is my partner, Cosmo." The Umbrepon purrs as she nuzzles the Sylvendipiti. "We're on vacation with my roomie. How's the beach been?"

"Oh, is that so?" Cosmo purred. "And what kingdom are you called a hero?"

"It doesn't have to be the whole kingdom. A child in my home village was labeled a hero for clearing the way to the moonpool." Moonflower said. "I'm sorry, we've never heard of a Zorua named Cereza."

"Is she your princess?" Cosmo teased. And her girlfriend quietly scolded her for that.

Ivy carefully made her way down the sandy slopes as her roomie and Cosmo follow her. Moonflower close to her partner as the two land.

"Where do you think the best place to set up is?" The purple Ogerpon asked.

"Under that tree." Cosmo pointed with her wing. "The perfect amount of shading and you two Ogerpons can rest without feeling dry."

Moonflower ran up to the palm tree and sat down. "She's right! It is perfect."

Cosmo sat next to his girlfriend and put a wing over her. "Nothing but the best more my love and her best friend."

Ivy sat next to her friends and started chatting with them. Maybe the Ogerpon was wrong about Cosmo. Maybe she wasn't as bad as she feared.

(Currently, Ivy and Moonflower don't have any specific labels. Cosmo however, is AMAB and she accepts he/him and she/her, but she's leaning more towards feminine pronouns and appearances. She was bigender, but now I'm going changing it to genderfae.)

"I've heard of lantern festivals, but never attended one. But my roommates have when they were little." Ivy said.

"My village holds lantern festivals to celebrate those who have passed on." Moonflower said. "And at midnight, we release floating lanterns to send the spirits back to Selene's ever expanding wings in the night sky."

Ivy and her roommates have heard of the lantern festival and some have received personal invites. Although, thankfully it was open for everyone, Ivy, Moonflower, and Cosmo looked around at all the fun games and tasty food at the venues.

Blind Date

Ivy sighs, heading over to Garura's Cafe for blind date night. This'll be a fun experience, at least. Pokémon of all kinds were mingling. Ivy sat in an empty chair. And the Ogerpon feels like she's about to throw up upon seeing who she's paired up with...

"INU?!" Ivy screeched. "What are you doing here?!"

"Blind date night...? Kinda like everyone else here." The Okidogi scratched the back of his neck.

"Right..." Ivy grinned. "So... How's life been?"

"Decent enough." Inu shrugged. "I've been helping out with dojo training. A tiny masked Eevee with a green hilt keeps knocking me down flat during regular battle sessions!"

Ivy squinted her eyes when the dog mentioned a masked Eevee. "Oh! The Eevee’s name wouldn't happen to be Mouse, would it?"

"Yes! How did you know?!" Inu exclaimed with surprise.

"I helped the kid when they were lost." The Ogerpon explained.

The two continued having civil conversations that didn't involve a shouting match. They exchanged jokes and laughed.

Ivy dusted off her leafy body as she and Inu left the cafe.

"I wasn't expecting to have a good time. You surprised me!" Ivy smiled.

The Okidogi laughed. "You're not the only one surprised."

"You wanna meet up sometime tomorrow?" Ivy offered.

"Eh, why not? I have the day off anyway." Inu nodded.

"Great see you then!" Ivy waved. She walks away from the cafe and to her roommates.

"How'd it go?" Moonflower asked.

"Surprisingly, pretty good!" Ivy sighed. "It actually feels good actually talking to that muscle headed dog."

"Wait- You know him?" Moonflower asked.

"Oh, yeah." Ivy avoided eye contact with her friend. "He, um... was one of those who stole my masks." Moonflower and Cosmo just looked at each other. "It's fine, it's fine! We're actually hanging out again tomorrow."

Moonflower smiles, happy things worked out in the end.
