Okay so this piece has been rotting in my folder for months now so I decided to finish cleaning up the lines and post it. This is our filthy hetslop, Jetlissa 🫶 Does this pair make sense? No not really tbh. Do they make me happy? Yes and that’s all that matters! I need to draw more of them.

I don’t have much on them atm but I like their design. It’s simple and cute imo! All I know is they’re an adult, use they/them pronouns and Cookie Cutter (another oc) is their caretaker. Everything else is a mystery.

There's no real thought process behind this. I really just wanted to draw my lions and make a new background for my laptop so I thought why not make it my ocs this time.

Xenia continues to wear her aloof expression, not quite in the moment but vibing nonetheless. I still really like her design. I did shorten her teeth compared to the last time I drew her because in the end I didn't like the large fangs. I just don't think it fits anymore.

Lillian was actually really fun to draw and color. You'd think with her very uh, colorful color palette she'd be harder to draw but actually it was pretty relaxing. Just used a few alpha locked layers and boom. She was actually the first lion we sketched!

Hackleburg feels like the star of the show because she's in the middle and she's flexing. I personally think she looks great and I'm so pleased with how she turned out.

Stargazer <33 She's staring off into space again thinking about knitting. What a grandma. One detail I like about her design is that her hair is greying. She really is a grandma!

Vile <3 She looks so small especially next to Hackleburg. I think it would've been funny to put her and Hackleburg next to each other to show the real height difference but I had to put the tallest one in the middle and shorties on the ends. It just felt right.

I think the fun part of being a character creator is really being able to reinforce and build on their character or personality. Putting them in different situations and asking the hard questions of how would they react to this? It’s fun, it’s fulfilling in its own way.

By doing something as silly as swapping their clothes, you get to think of how the character would react. Here we thought Golf Club would struggle wearing Sickle’s geta and you see just that!

It shows bits of their personality traits as well. Golf Club is naturally very expressive and you can see that with his panicked expression. Meanwhile Sickle is just… being herself LOL

She’s the opposite of Golf, she’s short and to the point with a mostly neutral expression. If anything she’s more concerned with how the shorts look on her more than anything.

This was a sketch we fully intended to finish but never did. So I thought I’d post it anyways because yippee more Sickle and Golf content, yay!! I know they’re just standing there on a blank canvas but they’re having a conversation, trust. About what? Everything!

We honestly just wanted to show the height difference between Sickle and Golf Club. It’s about a foot difference, give or take depending on consistency.

In the sketches you can really see how we breakdown body parts before adding clothes. Especially when you look at Sickle’s legs. Even with her wide, flared pants you can still see where the leg would be like if she were to wear shorts, or something like that. Same with like her muscles.

I love these two so so much. Sickle and Golf Club mean the absolute most to us. I could talk about them at great lengths but I'll save that for another time. For now though.

They are the perfect opposites attract pair. Sickle is this hardened, hard working, well disciplined phighter that does her work and keeps to herself for the most part.

Golf Club is the exact opposite. He's so bright and bubbly, warm and inviting. Always walking around with a smile on his face. He's so much fun to be around.

They're just so fun together. Actually, I think I'll post more art of them tonight :]

And this is where Medkit Monday ended. After this we never drew Medkit again, outside of system related art or doodles. The ending of Medkit Monday was never announced we just, stopped drawing him. LOL

No one really questioned it so we never felt the need to make a post about it. We've honestly thought about taking this sketch and turning it into a colored drawing but ah. I think I'll keep it as a sketch :]

Yo what's up chat

Oh this one is adorable. We're all very proud of it because this was the first time Coil drew. That's distinctly Coil's art style because of how different it is compared to our default art style, which is Xavier's art style.

This was a major turning point for our system. Up until that point, no one really drew in their art style. After this, a lot of other headmates starting drawing in their styles as well. Like Cirrus, Changbin and Jongho. Whether it was drawing our characters, each other, themselves, or fanart. They were still drawing in THEIR style.

It was so sweet to see.

So, in an au we’ve worked on with our friend Gabe, it was the Pest polycule. It was just Pest being in relationships with different characters from Phighting. Namely Ban, Coil and Medkit, while still dating Poob.

The thought process behind this piece was “hey what would it look like if Medkit and Poob met for the first time” and well, this was that. Just a short fluffy moment between them
