i finally caught up on deltarune! when chapters 3+4 came out i was preoccupied with other things and i wasn't able to dedicate the time to it that it deserves. game of all time, so good my chest clenches up a little just thinking about it… i really regret not keeping up with it, but otoh returning to the game after a break has completely renewed my love for it.

as of now i've played through ch3+4 multiple times and pretty thoroughly explored the different options/hidden things, and looked through the spamton sweepstakes stuff. i still need to finish watching the ut 10th anniversary stream and read through all the newsletters, but if i missed any other utdr content released between ch2 and now please let me know!

In all seriousness, a main reason I believe Mark and Gemma will have some semblance of a happy ending is because of the thistles shown right after their fight in the Chikhai Bardo card scene.

Thistles symbolize strength and resilience, especially in the face of adversity. I think (pray) this means that the Mark/Gemma relationship will survive.

Will it be the same as it used to be? Hell no, they are literally different people now!

But will it be there? Yes, absolutely.
