She laughed at his comeback, shaking her head slightly. “Makes perfect sense, really.” Remi considered for a moment, before nodding. She’d just get something non-alcoholic and it would all be fine. She was sure she could handle being in a bar at this point. “That would be nice. Maybe some wings, too?” she suggested with a grin.
“Wings. Yes. Now you are on the same wavelength as me.” He laughed as he picked up his skateboard. “I would offer to give us a ride but something tells me that the skateboard wouldn’t be efficient and my car is home” He smiled softly as he walked with her. “But I hear it’s pretty nice to walk around her. I’ve been trying to figure out where everything is. I’ve only got lost twice so far so I think I’m doing well.”
"I'm pretty sure I can walk as fast as you can skateboard, given what I've seen of your talent," she teased. Remi nodded. "It's pretty nice, really. And the leaves are starting to change colors so if you haven't taken a walk by the river be sure to do that at some point soon. It's really pretty. I forgot how much I missed fall, honestly."
